1) You buy it, you connect it once and it works. Forever (at least on MacBook). Something not at all obvious for those who have dealt a bit with gadgets and something not at all obvious for the mouse of the same company that lost connection every 7 minutes.
2) You don't bother to turn it off at night, to turn it back on in the morning, etc. If you use it for 12 or 14 hours a day, every day, then you will need to take the trouble to charge it once a month. If you work an 8-hour 5-day week, you will deal with charging again after 2 months.

Simply. I will never go back to a mouse. Instead of constantly moving and lifting something with your hand and clicking all the time, you simply navigate with your fingers and with minimal wrist movements, comfortably and naturally. I was looking for something ergonomic in a mouse, which are very expensive and anyway come close to this price, so the trackpad was the most logical choice.
