I bought the amplifier based on the reviews I saw, and because I love Marantz. HOWEVER, before I had the Sansui AU-717, those who know, know that it was one of the best amplifiers ever made, so my expectations were high. However, I wanted something more modern, but I couldn't compromise on sound quality, so it wasn't easy for me to spend around €2500. Nevertheless, I did it and fortunately Marantz didn't disappoint me. The amplifier is simply wonderful, with a vintage sound, sweet bass, fast without exaggerations or muddiness. As for the build quality, I have nothing to say, it's made in Japan and that says it all. In combination with the Marantz CD 60 and the Wharfedale Linton speakers, the result for me, who listens to metal music, is paradise for my ears. Thank you, Marantz.
