Having a lot of anxiety, stress, and sadness lately due to work, resulted in me being on edge and feeling pressure, and not being able to sleep at night...headaches, nerves, thoughts...if it wasn't enough to wake up at 3-4 am! I won't say that they relieved the pressure...but since the day I started taking them, everything has improved, one to two a day! Much more relaxed now at work without feeling like my head is suffocating and about to explode from nerves and thoughts...and the second thing is that I sleep very early now like a little bird...and wake up feeling satisfied in the morning! From me, a super like!!!

Another flaw I found is that the product came without an instruction leaflet and possibly side effects.
Does not do anything to help you sleep or relax, at least in my case. I took the recommended dosage of 2 pills before bedtime for 10 days, and there was no effect. Absolutely zero result. I even took 6 pills over 3 days to see if that would work. Nothing. It's a waste of money. Personally, you would have the same effect if you ate a portion of garbage or grazed in your garden. I really wonder how these inferior products are tested and which agency double-checks their claims. Thanks "NOW," you will never see me again as a customer for any of your "great" supplements
Valerian tea knocked me out, with a strong hypnotic effect, these are milder. If it works for you, it's great. However, keep in mind that valerian is a GABA agonist, where GABA is our main inhibitory neurotransmitter. Insomnia, anxiety, overstimulation, and all this package of lack of calmness are associated with low levels of GABA in our body.
Who are some other GABAergic agonists? Alcohol, Xanax, Valium, and generally benzodiazepines. They all affect the same system. Valerian will be milder, but there are similar risks - downregulation of GABA receptors over time, the need for higher doses, addiction, and withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation. I don't know if I would use it long-term, developing a dependency relationship with it for my sleep. Valerian also affects the so-called opioid receptors in our brain - that's why many people report vivid dreams.
The other well-known aid, melatonin, has a completely different mechanism of action (unrelated to GABA), and it is recommended for short-term use, mainly to regulate our biological clock.
For those who want to try something else (mild, non-hypnotic of course, as it should be), here is a composition without side effects that we can make ourselves for bedtime every day, magnesium and 2 amino acids:
Magnesium bisglycinate or magnesium taurate 100mg
L-theanine 200mg
L-glycine 2x1000mg
Personally, it did nothing for me. I used the recommended dosage for 3 nights. I didn't even relax and the next day I had unbelievable drowsiness... I suppose the smell of valerian is well-known... It only provides deep sleep (when it eventually comes)

Very good and lasted a long time, you don't need it every night, generally one capsule does the job well, it's a natural thing, not chemistry, so don't expect miracles.
