Instructions for Use

Apply the Avene Fluid Ultra Light all over the face before sun exposure.

Precautions

    No relation to the previous version
    It does not absorb at all
    It has a beige color and it is very heavy
    It does not provide coverage like the previous version
    And the pump was the best thing about the previous one!!!!!

    Personally, I much prefer the previous version. This sunscreen does not absorb easily, leaves a greasy feeling, and feels heavy on my skin. The previous one was much lighter, you felt like you weren't wearing sunscreen and it didn't leave a greasy residue.

    I bought this one again because the previous version was light and left a powdery feeling. You put it on and it was like it didn't exist on the face. This one is a bit heavier, it doesn't have the light texture it claims to have. Personally, without that powdery feeling of the previous version, it's just another face sunscreen among many on the market. At least it doesn't make the skin oily and doesn't leave a white cast, it spreads easily. I acknowledge that it absorbs relatively quickly. Another downside of the new version is that it comes in a tube. The old one with the pump was clearly better, it was much easier to control the amount you applied. Also, for some reason, I feel like it doesn't protect me at the beach. It's 10 in the morning and I feel like I'm burning. It's okay for city sun exposure, but that's about it. Even with the old formula, I would still get burned in the mountains under intense sunlight, even with frequent application.

    For me, it was not lightweight. I have oily skin and as soon as I applied it, I looked shiny. It never absorbed. It says light but it's not a gel. It's a yellow cream that sits very heavily on my face.
