  WARNING WARNING WARNING IT'S WORTH READING.
  Maybe after this review, no one will buy a Garmin watch again! GARMIN gives you a 2-year warranty because in the third year the battery dies and needs to be replaced. So I noticed this too and contacted the GARMIN representative here to ask. When I called, they told me to bring it in for them to check, but to do that they ask for 15 euros. So far, so good. When I got there, I left it with the guy to check, and I told him it was probably the battery. The employee told me he would look at it, but GARMIN lets me get to a certain point. Fine, I said to the technician, I leave it with you and leave. After three or four days, they called me and told me that it has a battery, they cannot change it, and I need to return the old device to GARMIN and give them 145 euros to get a new one (I have the GARMIN INSTINCT 2 TACTICAL model). The watch was purchased when it was released for 320 euros, and now if you find the model, because it is no longer produced, it has dropped to about 200 euros. In summary, my watch broke after 3 years, and to repair it, it probably can't be done, but what can be done is for me to return my old device (320 euros) + 145 euros to have it replaced, and in 3 years when the battery dies again, I have to return the old watch + 145 euros again, and it goes on... which means I have to give an infinite subscription of 50-60 euros a year to GARMIN to have a GARMIN watch because that's essentially what it is!! And fine, I paid 320 euros for the device; someone who paid 600 or 700 euros, when they are told we cannot repair it and we want the device back and 600 - 700 euros to get a new one, what will happen to that person????? Unless of course you have extra money and it doesn't bother you... So to conclude with this unacceptable company, the repair of my watch, if I watch some videos on YouTube (thanks to the guys who upload them), costs me 20 to 30 euros. (Note that the battery costs 20 euros). That's why from now on I learned why they say if you don't experience it, you won't learn. I hope this review helps many people. Thank you.

  Coming from the vivoactive 4, I had reservations about the lack of a touch screen, but it's not an issue. Just for the battery, it's really worth it, super lightweight, sits very well on the wrist. The solar feature doesn't offer much unless you spend many hours in the sun.

  I bought the tactical version because it was on sale and I liked the black color more, not for the extra tactical capabilities.
  I like its appearance, the GPS (glonass + galileo) is accurate and fast in connection, both in the city and in the mountains.
  Its battery lasts me 15 days with pulse oximeter usage during the day, GPS for about 4 hours per week, and brightness set at 20% (I don't have it connected to my phone all the time, I don't use the pulse oximeter, and I don't wear it while sleeping. Additionally, it gets sunlight exposure for 1-2 hours a day, usually from indirect sunlight rather than direct).
  Nevertheless, it charges quickly from the port it has, and its battery is sufficient for me.
  (I won't mention anything else here because there are many details, if anyone has any questions about anything else, please ask and I will respond as soon as possible if I have the answer).

  Autonomy with open GPS and heart rate monitor is 4 days. It definitely helps with solar, especially during the summer months. Quite lightweight. I would prefer a larger screen, as the measurements are not clear when running, swimming, etc.
  Very comfortable for running, and good triathlon training functions.
  I consider it too expensive for its price.
