After 2.5 years, I can say that the phone never lags and is extremely fast. Very nice display and good photos, just what you expect from a flagship. Also, the size is very convenient. The only downside is its poor battery, which significantly drops in endurance after six months. However, it charges quickly, so that somewhat balances it out. It is worth the money, but in the year 2024, there are definitely better options. I will keep it a bit longer until Samsung releases something more enticing.

Okay, good phone, very fast and pleasant to use with a very good camera for photos and videos, especially in good lighting, and as a former user of a cheap Xiaomi (the €200 one), it obviously impressed me. However, what made a terrible impression on me from the very first day of using it was its battery. I was supposed to change my phone to have a better battery compared to the Xiaomi, which I had for three and a half years and it had reached its limits. The battery of the S22, however, is the same as the battery of a cheap Xiaomi for €200... Its battery lasts half a day with moderate use. If you have data and Bluetooth on and use it continuously, it will last 4 to 5 hours... It really disappointed me, and I regretted not researching better before buying it, as I thought, okay, it's an S22, what could possibly go wrong. And besides that, the phone overheats a lot to the point where you can't touch it without a case. I've had a few occasions where I was outside on a sunny day and used it moderately with data on, and as I opened the camera to record a video, I realized it had overheated and its brightness decreased without me being able to do anything about it other than stop using it to let it cool down. Well, I won't even mention using it while charging and simultaneously doing heavy tasks... Recently, I was charging it with data on, Hotspot, and Bluetooth, and I was on a video call on Instagram, and I noticed that the phone reached a temperature of 53° and that the battery percentage was not increasing but decreasing (the charger was super fast) or the screen was burning (obviously the back more) but I didn't realize it because I had a case on, but when I took it off, I couldn't touch the phone. I believe something like this is dangerous for an explosion. I turned it off and let it charge and cool down because I was really scared. So, conclusion: the phone is a good phone with a battery issue. If you use it moderately (without data on all the time), its battery might last more than half a day, but definitely needs charging by evening. I think since the day I got it, the times it lasted me all day can be counted on one hand, and I used it very little. If you want it for heavy use (games, data, video calls, continuous video), I do not recommend it. Not that you can't take videos in general or make calls, just that in some "heavy" conditions, it's not suitable.

After 15 years with Xiaomi, I decided to switch to Samsung and I didn't expect such a change; I was pleasantly surprised. The software is so smooth, the Dex is excellent, I forgot what my laptop was like. The screen, camera, sound, UI 6.0, and security updates are all very well done. 5G is very good, with a signal of 500 Mbps just for fun. The battery let me down; Samsung should have had 4000-4200 mAh for the needs of Dex. I got the UGREEN hub with power delivery, it has type C that connects to the phone, one HDMI 4K Ultra HD, 3 USB, and one type C PD, so the battery doesn't drain when I connect it to Dex.
Update: after almost a year, the phone freezes, it doesn't catch a good signal, the CPU heats up to the point that I have to put it in the fridge. The battery drains twice a day, the same for my wife's phone which has over 5000 mAh, the 23FE. It restarts every day, my wife's fingerprint sensor doesn't work; it's the worst purchase I've ever made in my life. Honestly, I'm going back to Xiaomi next time. Samsung has nothing of what I'm saying; Xiaomi didn't have these problems. It's a shame I spent so much money, a shame. You play a game and it heats up to the point of disgust

I was looking for a mobile phone with a small screen but powerful performance, I got it as a gift luckily and I don't regret my money.On the positive side, it is a very delicate small-sized mobile phone, correct dimensions for me to handle it with one hand, it could be slightly lighter. It has a fast processor and a good camera, takes nice photos.
On the negative side, the big problem is that the battery does not last at all, you have to lower the screen refresh rate from 120Hz to 60, reduce brightness and turn off 5G, so it lasts just over a day, depending on usage of course. It's tragic that it doesn't come with a charger that costs $10, while you pay 600 euros. Unbelievable that it doesn't accept a memory card and I can't have my data there in case the phone crashes. The fingerprint is on the screen and doesn't respond correctly, I have disabled it, I have set a pin and face recognition. Overall, I think Samsung has lost it and is selling this phone at this price without even the accessories.

Quality construction, very fast, very good camera, comfortable in the hand, battery tolerable for its size, 3.5-5.5h SOT depending on usage, but no games during the day.
The phone is very good even at 60Hz, that's how I use it.
When I bought it, they initially gave me, by mistake, the American version with Snapdragon. During device setup, it got really hot. Because this was my mistake, they changed it to the European version with Exynos. Thankfully!! With Exynos, it didn't get as hot during setup.
My previous Samsung devices: S7 Edge, S8, Note8, S9 Plus, all very good, always delivering what they promised.
The S22 is better overall.
Comparing it to an iPhone, in my opinion, would be unfair to either the iPhone or the S22 because they are quite different. Some iPhones are better in some aspects, while some Samsung S/Android series are better in others!!

I usually don't write product reviews, but here the disappointment needs to be heard. Let me say that I have been a Samsung user for many years, with my latest phone being the Samsung S9+ which was amazing. I am completely disappointed. Firstly, the S9+ overall is better than the S22. The S22 mainly offers a good camera. That's it. Compared to the phones available in the competition, this phone is a complete miss. I have never seen a worse battery in a phone. The battery is so bad that it makes you nostalgic for the Nokia 3310 era. It almost leaves you with a psychological trauma. I wonder how this phone was released in 2020+ with such a terrible battery. It doesn't even meet the basic usage requirements, let alone if you want to play games or be social. At least three charges per day. As for the rest, there is nothing impressive. This phone cost around 800 euros!!?? They should almost compensate me for this poor imitation of a Samsung phone. If you are thinking of getting it, read this comment and go on vacation instead.

Coming from a Huawei P20 that I had for 5 years and unfortunately the battery started to deteriorate and probably because of that it started to restart frequently. But other than that, the phone was great. Unfortunately, due to Google Services, I couldn't go back to Huawei. So the next choice, being an Android user, was Samsung, a view I formed while working in a technology store for several years. I was torn between the S21FE (good reviews from people who had it and of course Snapdragon...) and the S22 which was on sale. I ended up going for the flagship, so let's get to the evaluation... It's not worth the money.... I got the 256GB for 600 euros instead of the current price of 750-760. However, it's not worth it. Actually, it's worth it if you're really interested in the camera. That's where it excels. It's a fast phone, although I don't trust the Exynos and it's already getting quite hot in a month. It also has a great screen and sound. And that's where the good things end. The battery is a curse. With moderate use, it lasts a day, with heavier use, not even a day, and fast charging takes 1 hour and something. The fingerprint sensor (with a glass protector) is terrible.... If I've tried to unlock it 100 times, 90 times it didn't unlock and I made multiple attempts to get it to work. And I'm someone who used it a lot for unlocking, apps, and bank payments on Huawei and it worked effortlessly. It's a 2017 phone, right? The face recognition is also tragic... I've tried two different face scans and it struggles a lot to recognize. Well, let's not even talk about it at night... Also, something that worked effortlessly on the P20. In short, I won't say it's garbage or that it doesn't perform my tasks to a great extent. Also, because I have a newborn at home, I've taken some amazing photos and videos. But let me put it simply... If someone told me they would buy it for 500 euros (1 month old phone), I would sell it and go buy the S21FE or go buy a Huawei and deal with the workaround they have done for Google. At least I would have peace of mind...

Away!!!
I have never felt like I wasted so much money for no reason before, on any device, whether it's a mobile or something else!
The response in navigation (UI) was pure disappointment. Permanent disappointment!
It took an hour to recognize the fingerprint (don't even get me started on face recognition, still waiting...) and especially in situations where you wanted to quickly open an application, like Google Play to pay for groceries, it could freeze, lag, open the application and you had to wait 5 seconds for it to unfreeze. And when you have more than 3-4 applications open, good luck...
I had no complaints about the result of the photos, but it often froze in videos and photos, especially when you moved your hand somewhat quickly, something that was captured in the final video, which is unacceptable.
The battery. Finally, I won't describe it anymore because I'll start cursing.
Screen brightness, connectivity, calls, sound, and various other features and automations of Samsung, okay they were good, but not like I can't live without them, plus when you have such features, you should have an efficient system that doesn't freeze.
In conclusion, I will tell you what I said from the first days I bought it and realized what the hell I did... Never again Samsung! (I haven't bought a Samsung since the Note Edge 2015, which was far superior to the 22, but even that was... Samsung!)

As the owner of this particular phone for the past 2 weeks, I have the following to say. The screen is simply amazing! You enjoy browsing, watching videos, and generally using it with such a screen and resolution. You feel like you're holding an expensive and high-quality phone. The camera is just incredible. It has nothing to envy an iPhone in any way. The next very important thing is its size. Guys, the size is ideal! I don't like using phones that don't fit in my pockets. However, this particular model fits comfortably in your hand and is very convenient to use.
Now let's move on to the negative that everyone mentions, its battery. It certainly doesn't have the best battery, but guys, its battery is just average and not so bad. You will need to invest in a good power bank. And in the end, it's the most economical phone in the s22 series. Obviously, it will have to fall short in something compared to the higher-end models. Personally, I use the phone all day and I consider the negative comments to be exaggerated. You can't have such a high-quality phone that literally has it all and complain about the not-so-good battery.
In summary, after acquiring the s22, I consider iPhones to be highly overrated, a scam, and a waste of money! I highly recommend it, but it would be good to also get a power bank along with the charger.

I have had it since May 22 and I am not satisfied at all. The battery lasts very little and the phone heats up very easily. It constantly wants to receive updates - immediately after the updates it suggests another update! It's not worth it in any case, I do not recommend it.
