Lamberts' Acidophilus Extra 4 is a dairy-free formulation that contains 4 billion friendly bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacture). Although Acidophilus is stable at room temperature, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator to ensure maximum potency. The special packaging of Acidophilus protects against moisture conditions, which are known to contribute to the degradation of bacterial viability. The bacteria contained in Acidophilus Extra 4 are dried at high temperatures and surrounded by an acid-resistant polysaccharide coating, protecting them from the acidic pH of the stomach.

USAGE:

Assimilation time: Less than 30 minutes.

Dosage: 2 capsules daily, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, with 1 glass of milk or water, or with food.

Do not take with hot drinks as heat contributes to the degradation of bacterial viability. Take at least 2 hours after taking any antibiotics.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry environment and protect from light, preferably in the refrigerator.
