Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier:

Proper pacifier hygiene includes frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene.

Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave oven, steam cleaner, UV sterilizer, or sterilization solution.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

1. Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
2. Pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the pacifier onto a clean tissue and let it dry.

If water has entered the inside of the nipple (through its valve), use the tissue to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
