Semi-automatic machine Venezia IZ-6001 for espresso coffee, by the company Izzy. The coffee supply is done with ground espresso, at the grind size you desire. This way, you determine the amount of coffee placed in the portafilter of the specially designed handle, and press the start button to begin the extraction process. Naturally, every time you make coffee, you should also clean the portafilter to ensure it is always ready for the next use.
It is a suitable choice for individuals who are interested in experimenting to achieve the taste and texture they desire.
It has a power of 1100 Watts, and it takes a few minutes for the water to heat up to make the coffee. Usually, from around 1100 Watts and above, it is a device that heats the water quickly. The water tank is detachable, thus offering easy filling and cleaning, and has a capacity of 1.2 liters. This means it can make up to about 20 single cups of hot espresso coffee before needing to be refilled. Additionally, thanks to the frother, you can manually mix steam and milk to create foam with the ideal density for the milk beverage you prefer, such as cappuccino or latte.

I have had it for 3 years and I have worn it out, only the nozzle for the frothing milk is terrible, the milk tastes like plastic wrap even though 3 years have passed, I mentioned it to them and they did nothing, unacceptable, I bought an electric frother and I do my job. The next one will definitely be a different brand.
It has already reached double the years of a dedica that I bought for good but it left us after two years. After 3 years, the basket of the double got so clogged from use that I had to use the basket of the broken dedica with a small modification of the group to fit (see photos). Now that it has been replaced by a much better and more expensive sage, it continues to provide uninterrupted services in the office with the ese basket of the dedica as an espresso pod machine. And all this with zero maintenance and descaling every now and then... Just fine!!!
2 years of daily use has not caused any issues. Very good extraction. Steam is classic, as in all coffee machines of this price range, it is enough for only 1 cappuccino.
The negative thing is that indeed this model has quite a few problems for which there is a warranty and the company always responds. For its price, it is excellent, no lies. I returned it because it was leaking water from the bottom and ended up buying another coffee maker from a well-known and more expensive company and regretted it. I wish I had kept this one even if it leaked water. The coffee maker's 20 bar is a plus.

Good for its price, but I believe that the cheaper Italian brand is better in terms of quality. In this specific case, the button got stuck after 5 months and it's going to be thrown away, while I had the "gruppe" for 2 years.
One of the best value for money espresso machines. Moreover, the top part is heated, so it keeps your coffee relatively warm.
I bought it a week ago, I have been drinking espresso since 2000... and I have changed quite a few machines. My previous espresso machine lasted 8 years and I decided to switch from 15 bar to 20, which is what this one has. The previous machine stayed in standby mode for a longer time without the green light turning off, which means it was ready to make coffee even after half an hour of preheating. This one turns off the green light in 3 minutes, so within that time you either have to preheat it (by pouring a cup of water) or make coffee directly. With preheating by pouring a glass of water... the coffee is hotter as it should be.... the crema is more than any other machine... when the coffee is finished, it remains in the cup... it has less noise than any other machine... water supply is very easy by simply pulling out the tank... the power cord is short but that seems to be a common thing in almost all electronics (and there goes the economy; come on).... I use it for 2-3 cups of coffee every day... the coffee is ILLY, the red one... the pressure on the filter should be gentle for a fast flow... or strong for a slow flow... in Italy, coffee falls slowly in professional machines... time will tell the final judgment...
Within 4-5 months, water started leaking without the water container being broken or cracked. Water was coming out from the bottom of the coffee maker. Additionally, the water couldn't heat up satisfactorily, resulting in a decrease in performance. I returned it within the warranty.
Although it is too early for a full review due to lack of hours... but what I am writing is truly true. The coffees we made, whether double espresso or cappuccino, were excellent. It would be perfect if it had slightly better frothed milk. I highly recommend it.
After 1 and a half years of use, we still have no complaints. It has made many coffees and has served us well. It is worth buying.

It is the 3rd time that I return it and they replace it with a new one the previous one.. I really don't know what's happening... the first time it was leaking water from below.. the second time you simply plugged it in and water was running and it was working without even opening it and it didn't even turn off from any button.. the third time the boiler broke down and it didn't pull water... it's a shame because it made nice coffee
I have it here for a few days, nothing negative! Especially if you know a liiittle bit how to make espresso, I believe it has nothing to envy from a professional espresso machine in terms of coffee preparation
After almost a year of use, I can say that it is a very good machine for home use.
Really, it is the 2nd time I return it for replacement... the 1st time it was leaking water from the bottom... somehow it was passing through the machine and spitting it out from below... immediate replacement though, and the 2nd time as soon as I plugged it in, without even pressing the button to open, it started and released water like it does when we want to make coffee... it wouldn't stop no matter which button I pressed. It's a shame because it is a nice coffee maker, stylish, and makes great coffee... let's see what will happen with the 3rd one
Very easy to use, makes perfect foam and even my husband learned how to make a cappuccino
I bought it for 88 euros from the Scroutz basket after a lot of searching. I am not a professional barista, nor a crazy coffee enthusiast, but I know how to distinguish a good coffee. I chose to buy a machine primarily because I couldn't find decent coffee (delivery) in my area, but also for budget reasons.
I should note that this was not my first encounter with an espresso machine, I know the basics but I have also worked with other "home" machines.
For several days, I was torn between this one, the Solac CE4506, and the Dedica from Delonghi. I excluded the Solac because I couldn't find enough reviews to satisfy me, and I also excluded the Dedica because it was way out of my budget. So, based on the good reviews, I decided to try the Izzy, which I have had for almost a month now.
-In terms of build quality, it is good. It is made of plastic, so it doesn't give that premium feel that the Dedica might have had, but it is a quality plastic and doesn't have any odor. It has a sturdy construction.
-It makes very little noise from the pump, which is normal.
-It draws water through a tube from the removable container on the side. If it were larger, it would be slightly better. We fill it once a day for 2-3 drinks and cleaning. The good thing about this design is that there are no leaks like with other machines.
-The tamper does its job, but I don't know how long it will last. I wish it was metal or had a more compact design.
-The doser is satisfactory, I think using a scale is an exaggeration.
-It is not automatic, so you either time the duration of the coffee extraction or measure the amount of coffee for the right result. I let it extract coffee for about 11 seconds (for a double shot).
-The steam nozzle has a detachable metal cover for easy cleaning.
-The steam pressure is satisfactory, but it doesn't last very long. You might need to steam the milk in two batches. It takes practice to make the milk froth correctly, otherwise it will just be foam.
So far, I have tried the following coffees and drinks:
-Lavazza Decaf packaged from the supermarket. It is coarse, doesn't require much tamping, if any. It produces a lot of crema and leaves a fruity aftertaste that might not be particularly appealing at first, but you get used to it.
-Caramel Breeze Decaf from Coffee Island. It comes in whole beans and they grind them there if you want. I told them I have a 20-bar machine and they recommended grinding it to a fine consistency. It requires a good tamping, produces the right amount of crema, and has a wonderful coffee-caramel aroma. It is the best I have tried so far.
-Silent Breeze Decaf from Coffee Island. It is also packaged in whole beans and they grind them there. With a fine grind, it also requires a good tamping, produces a good amount of crema, and has the classic clean coffee taste that I believe most people like. It doesn't leave any other strange aftertaste.
-HEMO chocolate drink. In a large cup, I add a little milk, 2-3 teaspoons of HEMO, and stir with a spoon to homogenize. Then I fill it halfway with milk and use the steam nozzle to heat the milk. It is important to swirl the milk so it doesn't foam. Once it is heated, I fill it with more milk and heat it again with the steam nozzle. It comes out like the chocolate in most cafes and makes a very nice foam.
-Ready-made mixes for chocolates and milkshakes from Coffee Island (Hazelnut Melody, Salted Caramel Melody, Strawberry Melody, Sweet Melody). I recently tried them and they are exactly like the warm chocolates from cafes. They are also prepared using the steam wand just like HEMO, only with milk, without adding sugar. The portions indicated on the packages are a bit large for us, so we use less of the mixture.
I also tried other packaged coffees that were coarsely ground (probably for filters, they didn't specify) and the machine would get clogged. I believe that finely ground coffee from a coffee grinder is the ideal choice and you don't need to have a grinder.
So, to summarize, for good results we need finely ground coffee from a coffee grinder, a good tamping, timing or measuring the quantity of the prepared coffee, cleaning before and after each coffee preparation. These are the basics that should be followed with almost all machines.
And as already mentioned, yes, it is worth buying an espresso machine of this category. You will save money and drink your coffee just the way you like it!
καφε σαν τον αγοραστό εξω δεν θα κανεις....και λογικο οταν το ένα μηχάνημα κανει 1500€ και αυτη 80-90€ ...για να μην ξεχναμε και τι ξέρουμε...για τα χρήματα της και για τα χαρακτηρίστηκα της είναι πολύ καλή. Εδω σε αυτη την κατηγορία μηχανημάτων ρόλο τεράστιο παίζει η ποιότητα και η ένταση του καφε .Αν δεν σου αρεσει μια ποικιλία αλλαζεις λοιπόν τόσο απλα μέχρι να βρεις τι σου αρέσει. Μερικοί λενε για το κρουπ οτι σπάει ευκολα (που δεν ισχύει) , αν ξερεις οτι ειναι λίγο ευαίσθητο το πιάνεις πιο κοντά τοτε .... εξαιρετικό αφρογαλα δεν θα κάνεις επίσης αλλα θα κάνεις μια χαρά αφρογαλα . Η μηχανή αξίζει φουλ για σπίτι αρκει να καταλήξεις σε ποικιλία. Και σίγουρα μετα απο κάθε χρήση μια πλύση να καθαρίζει ακομα και με χαρτοπετσέτα απο κατω απο εκει που βγαζει καφέ γιατι μαζεύει. Την συστήνω.
19.04.2024. Just after two years and the end of the warranty, the boiler broke down. Our official representative informed us that it cannot be repaired and if it could, it would cost 110-120 euros. I bought the machine for 80 euros. So stay away!
It is my first Krup machine.
I think it is very high quality, the important thing is that it makes good foam.

The review mainly concerns the dilemma of whether it is worth buying an espresso machine of this category or not. Not necessarily this specific one, although I think it is a very good choice for the money.
I reply that it is worth it 100%.
With a little practice to find the "settings" of each machine (coffee selection, grind size, etc.), you will make much better coffee than most takeaways.
I feel the need to mention these because a complete beginner who is considering buying a machine comes across quite polarized comments.
Especially from people who are professional baristas and claim that such a purchase is a waste of money.
Without wanting to elaborate on this, I want to set a guideline for us to understand each other.
Can you drink fredo like the ones from takeaways from such a machine?
I reply that you can, even better. (For the first time with my own coffees, I tasted the different flavor notes that each coffee offers.)
Personally - I have heard it from others as well - I now find it difficult to find good coffee outside since I have gotten used to the good quality that I make at home.
3 VERY IMPORTANT tips:
1) Buy a grinder. There are decent ones for 40-50€. Don't even get a machine without a grinder.
2) Buy a precision scale and a dosing cup. (Both for under 20€)
3) After 1.5-2 minutes, the machine has reached the appropriate temperature. Even though the light indicates that it is ready for extraction earlier. Meaning, until you weigh and grind your coffee, the machine will be ready.
In conclusion, I would say that if you can afford to increase your budget by 60€, then go for the Delonghi Dedica.
I am one of those who drink up to 7 coffees a day and I want it not to be bitter.
I have had this machine for 5 months and like all machines, they have their peculiarities...
It took me almost 3 months to learn how to use it...
Anyway, I don't want to go into details, this is the recipe that I like:
11.5g FINELY GROUND coffee (fresh coffee that I grind myself)
NO tamping! Just let the coffee surface even out.
44ml coffee extraction
Mix with 1 ice cube and sugar (let the ice cube completely melt)
In a glass with 3 ice cubes
I bought the coffee maker a few days ago and I am very satisfied. It is understood that there are much better ones than this, but the review is always relative to what we pay. For this reason, I give it 5 stars. The coffee it makes is very good. The only thing I could mention as a negative is the fact that the container is on the sides, which personally did not suit me very well due to lack of space.

That is, a pretty good coffee machine for the price. With a good variety of coffee, you will drink pretty good coffee.
The 20 bars are only for producing more foam.
I didn't see a tremendous difference.

And of course, what I never understood is why izzy puts such fake handles - closures.

Terrible coffee. I have tried many coffees but it's not worth it. I worked for years in a café, knowing about coffee and how to clean it, and it's awful. Waste of money. I used to have an espresso machine with capsules, I would prefer to get such a machine again.
I bought it 2 weeks ago for 74 euros. As a first espresso machine, it heats up quickly, makes very good espresso and froth. Very good for its price. It makes perfect espresso. The 20 bars are perfect for a good coffee with rich crema. After a month of daily use, I have forgotten what it means to spend 2-3 euros every day on coffee. I also started making lattes.
Regarding the milk frother, I tried both skimmed milk and full-fat milk and they made wonderful frothy milk for lattes.
After daily use (1-2 espressos daily), I recently made hot chocolate with the nozzle and the result was very nice.
After a year of use...satisfied...
Update 06/12/2023...after almost 2 years of continuous operation (2 coffees daily), it continues to work perfectly!! The only thing I had to do was clean it for limescale due to a slight water loss from the nozzle...!!
Change rating to 2 stars. Money wasted. Like all in this category. Heats water with coffee flavor. Nothing else. Unfortunately, with 60 and 100 euros, you can't make coffee at home.

The machine is wonderful. For my taste, because it produces incredible foam to the point where I had to reduce the grinding time from my grinder, so that the coffee is not too finely ground to be reduced. Now the only negative thing I noticed is that it is a bit difficult to attach the tool to the coffee, that is, to find by hand (since you can't see) where it goes in order to twist it correctly and quickly. The flow rate is low and just enough to produce incredible coffee. The temperature is also very good without burning the coffee and altering the taste. It heats up relatively quickly. It is incredibly quiet. The water goes in easily by simply pulling the lever to the right. I don't know, but I am very satisfied with the quality. No comparison to an Ariel I had recently which was generally useless. I made perfect foam. Unfortunately, this coffee maker also has the same problem that all cheap ones have. After making foam, if you turn off this option and try to make coffee again, the light flashes because it has a higher temperature and you have to wait a bit until it stabilizes and allows you to use it. I have a concern about the buttons not breaking. I hope it lasts. Cleaning will show, I don't know yet. Good purchase, at the moment I am enjoying a great coffee from its "hands". Oh, even though it's black and not stainless steel as I would prefer, it is quite beautiful and in good dimensions. Buy it.
