Description

Fishing reel from Daiwa, suitable for bolognese. It features 6 bearings which facilitate the movement of the main shaft. The reel drum rotates with a gear ratio of 6.2:1, which means that for one complete turn of the handle, the spool will make 6.2 rotations. The reel can hold 150m of 0.14mm thick line, and if a thicker line is used, the capacity in length decreases.

ABS (Anti Backlash System)

The spools with ABS technology are conical, aiming to reduce the chances of tangling during casts. At the same time, the spool's lip further reduces friction and aids in achieving long casts.

The new Zaion V Carbon material

It features a body and rotor made from the new Zaion V Carbon material, which is produced from the dense accumulation of carbon fibers. Essentially, it refers to an advanced form of hybrid material that combines the technologically advanced Zaion plastic with carbon fibers.

It is characterized by its corrosion resistance and hardness. By adding carbon fibers to Zaion, the material becomes even lighter and more durable, while also offering increased rigidity, smooth rotation, and resistance in the mechanism. Therefore, Daiwa mechanisms provide maximum strength and corrosion resistance, while maintaining the lowest possible weight.

LT (Light & Tough)

The result of LT technology is the construction of reels by Daiwa that feature lower weight, smaller dimensions, but significantly more power. The LT technique ensures that all mechanical parts are fully protected from distortions and work together so that the reel has great power in both the handle and the brakes.

Air Rotor Technology

The arched profile in Daiwa mechanisms with Air Rotor technology:

  • Is not solid, allowing air movement between all rotor components. This prevents the accumulation of foreign substances such as water, salt, sand, dust, or moisture, which can cause corrosion.
  • Is 15% lighter compared to conventional rotors. This reduces weight while increasing uniformity in line distribution.

Digigear

The digitally designed gears (DigiGear) ensure the perfect fit in the cooperation of the mechanical parts of the drive shaft, offering speed, power, durability, and combine perfectly with the Air Rotor technology, where the compact rotor allows air movement between all its components.

Automatic Tournament Drag (ATD) Brake System

It stands out for its high-performance Automatic Tournament Drag (ATD) brake system, which provides greater resistance at the beginning and more progressive action thereafter.

It operates immediately and applies the selected force to the spool without any delay at the start of its rotation.

In other words, it offers instant control of the operation and provides maximum possible resistance, while offering better protection to the fishing line and braid.

Infinite Anti-Reverse

Limits the reverse movement of the handle to zero, for better "hook sets" without jolting the mechanism and without releasing even the slightest line.

Cross Wrap

The Crosswrap system:

Prevents line distortion around the shaft.
Allows better line release during casting phases.
Helps avoid problems with line shaking and twisting.

Silent Oscillation System

The Silent Oscillation technology is considered one of the most fundamental technological functions in the mechanisms of the Japanese company. It offers superior rotational flow of the mechanism and extremely quiet operation.

Airbail

The innovative design of Daiwa reels:

  • It is stainless, sturdy, and hollow to have minimal weight.
  • Its shape allows for proper handling and winding even of free line, without tangles or loops.

Twist Buster II

The new design of Twist Buster technology reduces line friction on the roller and minimizes "twisting" by up to 90%. The Twist Buster II system directs the line in a specific direction, with the rollers featuring a special cone that forces the line to "twist" during retrieval, counteracting the twist created by the spool's movement.

A great mechanism that won't cause any issues in any area. It collects the thread as it should, linear brakes for its cubic capacity, and generally has no flaws, especially for the price it costs.
