From the very first use, it has a leak. You boil the water, but if you don't empty the kettle after use, the water passes through the plastic bottom of the kettle and leaks through the screw holes, resulting in water spilling everywhere when you lift the kettle for the next use.

For the money, it is unacceptable. I hope it is just a defect in my product.
