Description

The arrival of the Holy Light on Holy Saturday at the Tomb of Christ is the unique event in world history that takes place every year, on the same day, for many centuries. This book records the testimony of history for this event, covering a period of 13 centuries (4th-16th). Eighty-five authors from the medieval world, including 17 French, 9 English, 8 Greeks, 7 Italians, 7 Arabs, 6 Germans, 5 Armenians, 5 Ethiopians, 4 Russians, 4 Persians, 3 Icelanders, 2 Egyptians, 2 Chaldeans, one Moldavian, one Syrian, one Belgian, one Austrian, and one Swiss, describe the descent of the Holy Light, which is revealed every Holy Saturday at the Tomb of the God-Man as a reminder and confirmation of His Resurrection.

In addition, the measurements of Professor of Physics, Andrei Volkov, at the Tomb of Christ on Holy Saturday in 2008, scientifically confirm the descent of the Light and reveal three events that he himself characterizes as "incredible and completely inexplicable." Similarly, the thermal measurements of the holy flame, made by Italian Professor Giulio Fanti on Holy Saturday in 2019, provide evidence of the supernatural origin of the Holy Light and confirm a fact that has been historically recorded for 11 centuries: that the holy flame, in the first few minutes after it is lit, burns imperceptibly - much less than a normal flame - without causing burns to those who touch it. The book also includes a historical-archaeological study on the original form of the Tomb of Jesus and the rock of Golgotha in the year 33 AD, along with a series of representations of the two sites - such as the one in the image below.

Amazing book!!! It has references to historical sources and artifacts. Easy to read with small chapters and rich photographic material. It is printed on glossy paper. I consider it a gem for my library. Highly recommended for those who doubt the Holy Light.
