Wireless signal repeater REX 2. Supports sending alarm signals from motion detectors with a camera for visual verification. Wireless repeaters expand the boundaries of the protected area and give us even greater freedom in the placement of peripheral devices. Up to 5 ReX 2 can be connected to a central Ajax unit (Hub2 or Hub2 Plus) resulting in wireless communication extending up to 3400m. The wireless repeater ReX 2 supports Motion Cam and Motion Cam Outdoor, motion detectors with a camera for alarm verification. Events and alarms are transmitted immediately and the first photo verification snapshot is delivered to a monitoring station and users in just a few seconds. 

With the upgrade of the OS Malevich 2.13 operating system, the ReX 2 range extender will connect to the hub not only via radio communication but also via Ethernet using the cable as the sole or priority communication channel. A single Ajax system can cover the installation, such as an office center with underground parking, or a sectional metal shed, or a warehouse complex of several large buildings.

ReX 2 is protected against software and hardware attacks. It runs on the OS Malevich operating system, which is immune to viruses. All data transmitted by the range extender is encrypted. Thanks to the built-in backup battery, a sudden power outage at a facility will not be an issue.
