Featuring a 3-stage filtration system, the Cleansui MDC01SZ-AZ filter effectively removes impurities and contaminants from the water supply. The first stage includes a ceramic coating that eliminates lead, particles, and bacteria, ensuring a safer and more hygienic water flow. The ceramic coating is highly effective in trapping harmful substances, making it an essential component for maintaining water quality.

The second stage incorporates pharmaceutical-grade activated carbon, which plays a vital role in reducing unpleasant odors, chlorine, and mold. Additionally, it successfully eliminates various substances, including pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, bromoform, tetrachloroethylene, trichloroethylene, and others. The activated carbon significantly enhances the taste and smell of the water, providing a refreshing and pleasant drinking experience.

The third and most critical stage of filtration involves a hollow fiber membrane.     Very good water quality, taste-wise identical to other filters I have used in the past which were countertop and theoretically of much better quality - and much more expensive. This is for Attica; in other areas, the more expensive filters are indeed worth it because there the water can be anything.

    The downside is that if the faucet's inlet does not have a very specific length, an extra washer is needed on top or bottom, which is not provided in the box. If you encounter this with the inlet for Toto faucets, you will need at least one for above the first plastic piece you will screw on before connecting the filter.

    Excellent filter, you can immediately notice the quality difference. The drawback is the lack of instructions in any European language and unfortunately we do not understand Japanese writing. If there are 100-200 Greeks who know how to read Japanese, unfortunately I do not belong to them
