Overall good shoe. Quality leather with resistance to contact with branches. The rubber around accepts hits and scratches from rocks without any significant damage. The Vibram sole is very good in grip on rocks (even when wet), in snow, and without any annoying feeling of the ground underneath. Nice feeling even on downhill where it holds very well. The waterproofing did not bother me at all in snow and rain. As for the fit, it is comfortable even on wider feet, I have not noticed any friction in any part of it and it allows the ankle to move laterally without losing stability. It requires attention in lacing as the 3D system can leave a loose feeling if not tightened properly. Not particularly warm, for winter you will definitely need good socks.
Use for hunting..in all terrains. Waterproof, not even as a joke...it took them a long time to break in...after a year of use, the shoe is not stable at all...it feels like it grew 2 sizes...the laces are too tight to walk on rocks...I understand all the protrusions of the rocks...I had high expectations but I was disappointed...The Salomon shoes I had, which were 2/3 of the price...were clearly more functional...If you want them for hunting...in all conditions...they don't do the job...
Tested in snow, snowstorms, and rain, completely waterproof. I would prefer them a little warmer, but with appropriate socks they are fine.
