You can set a timer, turn on or off the device you want from a computer or mobile phone, whether you are at home or not. You can also give the corresponding command through a virtual assistant.
As for the negatives, I would mention that it does not measure power consumption, which similar products from another Chinese company (Aqara) do, but they require an extra hub and converter in European format to work with HomeKit.
