The SSD is very good for the money I spent to buy it; it has the speeds it promises. As for its durability, I don't know since I've had it for less than 6 months
Because I bought it recently and I don't have an opinion on its durability over time, and the motherboard gave me a hard time until I managed to set it up, I can only say one thing! The drive is amazing!!! At this price, it's the best you can get! I've been using it for about a week and so far (knock on wood) it seems reliable! I also recommend adding a heatsink because high temperatures are the worst enemy, especially for these types of drives... So far, with the heatsink that the motherboard has (Gigabyte B760 Gaming X DDR4 rev. 1.0), it hasn't exceeded 32 degrees Celsius! I am very satisfied!
amazing, 2 tb and writes at speeds of 6000-1500 mb.sec while most drop to 200-400
Of course with an excellent cooler always, of 10 euros especially if you use it intensively
I don't know how long it will last...
But whatever it says, it does... super fast!!!
I use it as a second drive and play with large video files... It flies, I tell you!!!
One of the best M2s on the market, does everything in the blink of an eye, chaotic difference with the 960 and 970 Samsung I had before, which were also great even though they were older technology, if you find it on sale, get it with closed eyes.
During the cloning process from HDD using 3 different migration programs, it encountered an error while writing as bad sectors! Brand new SSD out of the box. It was sent back to the store for inspection and possible replacement...
It was purchased as an extension for the PS5, as the built-in disk can only hold about 7-8 large games. This one claims to have a cooler, but practically it only has a small graphene plate on top of the memory. It's worth spending an extra 10-15€ and adding an aluminum cooler.
It is as fast as it claims (the PS test showed about 6 and something GB/s), but the most important thing is that after making it the primary disk, it transferred almost half a TB from the PS5 disk in about 2.5 minutes!
There may be faster disks out there, but at the price that the Fury has (including the 10€ for the cooler), I think it's one of the best value-for-money options, whether for PS5 or PC
Everyone has their own experience and I suppose it just happened to me, but as soon as it was plugged into my laptop, after a 100gb transfer, the transfer always failed and stopped being recognized by Windows. I tried many things and even after formatting, it still does the same thing.
I always had issues with Kingston, whether it was with their awful slow USB sticks that froze every 5 seconds or with this SSD.
Personally, I wouldn't trust this company with my data.
Very good disk and one of the fastest on the market without being the most expensive. I have been satisfied for almost six months and I would buy it again because the next option in terms of speed that this one offers is the Samsung 990 Pro, which is at the same speed but costs around 40 to 50 euros more, so I don't see a reason to go with Samsung... Now, in terms of reliability and durability over time, I don't think it lags behind Samsung
The specifications touch reality, so why not. I have it as a second one just for game storage and it is complete in everything!
*After a year it suddenly lost the files, but I contacted the company and after the information they requested, they sent me a new one immediately, it came quickly via DHL :D
I got him for the PS5, in no case did he reach the theoretical speeds (something like 1 GB/sec max). It doesn't cause problems in games, it's just not what it claims to be
