Tamron familiarizes Fujifilm users with the "all-in-one" lens philosophy. The 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD from Tamron is a versatile superzoom lens ideal for photographers who want an "all-in-one" lens that covers almost every shooting situation.
It is characterized by its zoom magnification reaching 16.6x and a minimum focusing distance of just 15cm. A fast and accurate autofocus mechanism, Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive), offers some of the best performance in its class.
It is complemented by the vibration compensation system that provides stable photography even at long focal lengths.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I give it five stars because despite its flaws, the lens is very good. First of all.. You don't need to change lenses every second. It has 18-300, it has it all. For photos and videos during the day, it's perfect, but it doesn't have enough light to use at night, for example. You will need a large aperture and the "flaws" will show, I know it's 700€ but it's a lens for life. You don't need anything else. I have an a6000 and it doesn't seem as sharp as I expected, but it's probably because I don't have a full-frame. I hope I have helped you with the review and don't even think about it
It does what it promises with a difference: In my Fuji XT30, although it is convenient 3 in 1 (zoom 18-300mm, macro, waterproof), it does not compare in Colors with the Fujinon 18-55mm and Fujinon 55-200mm. Although the Tamron is sharper, the photos with the Fujinon have warmer tones. The advantage of the Tamron is that you attach it to the camera and you're done... No need to change lenses and it does everything. From wide-angle lens to 300mm zoom and macro. It performs well in bright sunlight, but loses color quality in cloudy conditions, where the Fujinon or the fixed Sigma f1.4 that I also have excel.
