  It is undeniably a very high-quality boot.

  Because the upper part is made of leather, it needs to be broken in, so at the beginning, you need to be patient! Although it gives you a heavy feeling, especially when you first put it on, it turns out to be very comfortable even when walking: I say this because at first, the sole seemed somewhat stiff, but eventually, it softened too!

  They are definitely waterproof, but we need to judge them correctly: meaning, they don't let water through when you step on them, supporting the motorcycle, for example, on steep slopes where there is a strong current. However, in more ADV situations, proper dressing and boot height are required to prevent water from entering because obviously, if water enters from the top because it has soaked your pants, then what good is the GORE-TEX? You won't be saved by anything. In the end, what I mean is that if water is sprayed directly onto the shoe from the road, or if it rains from above because you are on a scooter, or if you step on water, then nothing will get inside.

  Now, the grip on asphalt, I believe, could be much better, I was a bit disappointed. It's not that it scares me when I step on it, but if you push it a little, it starts to slide slowly... It is saved because the sole has a wide surface area, thus a large contact patch.

  Cold: I don't think they are warm boots, but I reserve judgment because last winter I wore them with long athletic socks, while this year I have bought thermal ones. And all this on a mega scooter, where I have my feet up but stretched forward.

  They are indeed casual and with a little care, they maintain a nice appearance (I say this because they get dirty very easily). As soon as they soften, you can wear them for endless hours (I have done 750 km in one day) while you can walk comfortably without a second thought because the insole is of professional quality. My laces broke within three months.

  Protection: very, very sturdy, you feel secure, and with an internal shin/knee guard, you are all set. Great ankle reinforcement, while the front and heel are satisfactorily hard. I believe that even if you drag it on the asphalt while turning, it will leave a noticeable mark but it won't open at all. Unfortunately, it does not have integrated protection for the gear lever, but the company provides a patch which, as you can imagine, you lose within the first 100 km...

  I should note here that all shoes have their weak points due to the offered ergonomics: I had an accident with this particular boot, but I hit iron on the outside right where it is softer to allow joint movement of the toes! No matter what I wore - even if I had protection for the toe dragging - it didn't save my foot, the newtons were too much! (As you can see in the photos, there is no mark at all...)

  In general, I recommend it, but it is better for riders with powerful mega scooters for their daily use, but who will also take them on a one-day trip in the winter. Pay attention to the size, I wear 44 but I got these in size 43 because they are tight at first but then they loosen up, see how much space you have in the toes and most importantly, examine the opening that the membrane allows for entry, especially if you have a wide foot while wearing double socks, for example...

  I am attaching photos of my case, in everyday wear for 2 years without any - I emphasize - care.

  EDIT: Today is October 30, 2023, and I am looking for a cobbler to deal with their color because one shoe is darker than the other!!! I don't know if it was like this from the beginning, I hadn't noticed, but if they are cleaned, the difference is huge... For now, I passed both of them with black leather polish to make them somewhat presentable. Otherwise, it's an awesome shoe, no other flaws and it also looks good (I say this for our social outings). I will buy more pairs of shoes and they will definitely be TCX again.
