Having experience with all the filters from the company, I can say that I consider this to be the best. The price could of course be a little lower, but if it does what it promises, it's an expense of about 3 euros a month, to drink clean water

It doesn't let chlorine pass at all, very good, just if the quality of the water is not good like in my case, you change it in 2 months at most because it has no pressure at all

Because it is quite expensive, I ended up with the r2 which, for my area that has good water, is sufficient.

Very good, it cleans the water quite well and it is very easy to understand. Its negative aspect is that it reduces the water pressure significantly, to the point where it takes about a minute to fill a large glass of water.

The only negative thing is the flow.. But I bought it knowing that! That it will run less than the simplest type (the R2) but the taste result will be better. For an economical solution, I think it is very fair!!!

Very good filtration, the water is very clean and odorless. The flow is not significantly reduced compared to the R2 and it clearly has better results. I believe it doesn't make sense to go for the R7, which has a flow that reaches the limits of torture unless you have an issue with the network and need strong filtration.

I have been using it since 2003, initially as WATERPIK (USA), and then as INSTAPURE (USA) until today. Although its production has been transferred to China from the USA, I believe it has maintained its original quality of construction. It significantly improves the quality of water (eliminates the strange smell and taste of unfiltered water in Athens).

It removes the smell-odors of the water, the R5, and you drink clean water. I replaced the R2 that I had from the original packaging because it had a smell with a taste of a tank-barrel. Its pressure is not high, but it is good enough for drinking or cooking. I will definitely buy it again

For anyone who has installed the Instapure water filter on their faucet, I believe that this particular replacement filter is the best choice for filtration - flow. Especially during the first 2-3 weeks of use, you can feel the difference compared to the R2 filter that comes with the original packaging. Its flow is practically double that of the R7 (which is the company's best filter), with which I consider it provides equivalent filtration. For this reason, having tried all three of these filters (R2, R5, and R7) for several years, I recommend the R5 as the best solution.

Much better than the regular r2 filter from instapure, which lets odors pass through. Compared to the r7, I would consider it equivalent since I haven't noticed a noticeable difference. Of course, both the r5 and r7 require good pressure to have a good flow.
