The EVGA SuperNOVA P6 power supplies feature a new design, using new materials and better placement to achieve higher efficiency with extremely low ripple and noise in an even smaller frame.
With LLC Resonant Rectification and DC-DC design, the SuperNOVA P6 provides stable stability, uncompromising performance, and extremely tight voltage regulation.
The OPP is designed to activate at 135% of maximum power as a last resort to protect the system, but the SuperNOVA P6 also features firmware OPP to anticipate harmful load behavior 5-10% earlier, shutting down the power supply when overload conditions last more than 1ms, while avoiding a momentary over-power protection activation malfunction during instantaneous peak power.
To reduce noise, the SuperNOVA P6 maximizes the time the power supply remains silent or quiet at low to medium loads when ECO Mode is enabled.
With fully modular cabling, it features every connection required to power the most demanding upgrades of today's computers now and in the future, including the latest generation of power-hungry graphics cards and processors.

I am not the most suitable person to evaluate watt, volt stability, etc., but as the owner of the 1000w for 2 and a half months, it started making noise in the fan. It was returned and replaced (the whole process took 14 days), but the second one also started making the same noise within a month. Again, the second one was returned, which was also defective, but I opted for a refund. It was purchased for 220€
