It is easily cleaned as it consists of two pieces and is ceramic. No comparison with the plastic ones that are circulating, which collect salts resulting in being dangerous for the pet's health. It holds a satisfactory amount of water but in any case, the water in all fountains should be changed every 2-3 days at most. The cat drinks pleasantly. One disadvantage is that it does not have an activated carbon filter, but it did not bother me as I use water from a faucet filter. A very good purchase, I recommend it!
