Probably the best magnetic phone mount. Quality plastics at all points, sturdiness, and the device remains stable even in intense turbulence.

For those who place it on the car windshield, it may fall in extreme cases of intense sun that has direct contact with the suction cup.

The positives have been written by most below, I will write about a negative that I didn't see anyone else mention. This has to do with the charging speed and whether the phone is in a case or not.

I tried (with the same charger always), and if the phone is inside the original Apple magsafe case, it shows a slow charging indication (settings -> battery). If I take off the Apple case, then it charges normally. I would give it points if my case wasn't original (I would blame the case and not the base).

A huge downside for me is the slow charging, as if someone has maps, GPS, data, Bluetooth, etc. activated (which is reasonable when driving), it essentially offers nothing since the phone ultimately discharges.

Excellent. I got another one later for the other car. It sticks perfectly and doesn't come off. With the heatwave, it only fell once from the windshield when I left it parked, but I reattached it and it didn't come off again. I've applied it to the other car and on the plastic of the car. I highly recommend it because it doesn't need to go into the grilles, but you can apply it wherever it's best and most convenient.

Very good construction and aesthetically pleasing. I installed it on the car dashboard and it gave me the freedom not to obstruct the field of vision. The phone doesn't budge at all, neither in potholes nor in turns. However, you can take it off very easily.

Now that it's summer and very hot, on the first day I put it on, in the afternoon after work it had come off and I was disappointed. However, I reattached it more carefully and now it sits just fine.

Also, while driving, the phone shakes quite a bit but I don't know if it's the plastic dashboard of my car that isn't very sturdy or the mount.

Overall, it's worth the money.

Good construction and the magnet sticks very well. I just had an issue with repositioning it on the dashboard as the adhesive came off the component for the dashboard (my mistake), but I can't find a replacement anywhere. If it was easy to purchase the replacement, it would get 5 stars, but I can't find it anywhere, not even on Spigen's website.

Great upgrade, exactly what I was looking for. No need to stick magnets on the phone or anything. It uses the iPhone's MagSafe magnet and charges as well, what else could you want? Obviously with a very abrupt braking the phone will fall off, but expected.

The base initially surprised me. It provided good support and the phone didn't move at all, etc. After 1 month, the part that tightens on the vent started to break, resulting in poor grip, but it still did its job. Now, after 4-5 months of use, the ring that tightens around the magnet has broken, causing the phone to constantly change angles, something that only happened occasionally before. It seems to be of good quality, as the company is known for its products, but it has disappointed me in this case. The tightening is difficult from the beginning, as it has 3 points: one where it tightens on the vent, one where the arm tightens, and one on the surface where the magnet is, each with a different tightening direction (presumably for stability). It constantly loosens and requires constant readjustment of the angle. It's a big disappointment, such a shame. Volkswagen Scirocco 2009.

As a charger and magnet, it is quite good. However, the hook that attaches to the air vent does not grip as well, resulting in the phone falling off along with the base.

I have it for about a month now. The magnet is very stable. Now, I still have some reservations about the frame. I want to try tightening it more. At this stage, however, it doesn't hold the phone up high, and luckily the radio screen is right below the air vents, so I rest it on top of it. But maybe it just needs more tightening.

It is a very good base and the mobile remains in its place with any road irregularities. I give it 4 stars because if the mobile does not touch a certain point of the car, it shakes. It's like it's rattling with the road irregularities, but if you place the base in a position where the bottom part of the mobile touches a point of the car, then it doesn't rattle and it doesn't shake. I consider it quite reasonable for the mobile to shake in a telescopic base, so I don't give it fewer stars. It is quite high quality and I believe it will satisfy the average user.

The support base was purchased to use the MagSafe of the iPhone and so far it's doing incredibly well. The installation is very easy, where essentially you have to tighten it to the car's air conditioning vents. It holds the phone (iPhone 14 pro Max), which is also heavy, very securely. The magnet is great and I have driven on many rough roads and it doesn't move. Since I got it, I only had to tighten it once and since then, nothing. I have the Rhinoshield case, if that helps, and I have no issues with it!

My job constantly requires me to be in the car. I bought the mount because I really needed something sturdy and "secure" to hold my phone (13 pro max) and feel that it is safe.
The mount is really what I needed. It hasn't moved from its position on the roads of Attica and wherever I have been.
Of course, I must mention that it is in an Apple MagSafe case.

Very good, exactly as described with very good build quality. Installation is very easy. The phone is secured as it should be to be safe, but at the same time, the use of the base is comfortable.

In OnePlus Nord, the mobile phone does not stand for any reason. I am disappointed. The magnet of the base seems very weak compared to the simple base with the arm. I spent a total of €60 on 2 bases that ultimately serve no purpose.

For the iPhone 13 Pro Max at least, the base is completely useless for its intended purpose. Unfortunately, the magnetic strength is not even remotely capable of holding the weight of the moving phone. (Considering that I have it in a genuine Apple MagSafe case.) I didn't even need to place the base in the car or unwind its cable. I stuck it (with the magnet) to the MagSafe case of the phone, held it by the "ball" (joint) it has at the back, and with a little shaking up and down, the phone would fall after a few shakes, while when I lightly hit my elbow on the table (like a car hitting a pothole, for example) the phone would immediately fall. Luckily, the store where I bought it has a money-back policy, so I won't lose the money at least.

I bought it because I have the 13 Pro Max and a Yaris car from '12. They had given me a similar base as a gift without an arm and the phone didn't fit because of the curved dashboard of the Yaris. This one fits and works perfectly, and it's also cheaper! It's totally worth it!

I installed this specific car mount on a car that moves in a port, with many potholes, train tracks, dirt roads, etc. The phone is in a magsafe compatible case and fits perfectly on the mount, despite the bumps it has never fallen. You install it in 3 minutes in the car and forget about it. It's worth its money!
