Well, first of all, I bought it on order on 22/3/2022!! As soon as I saw the box, I was amazed because it is simple and elegant at the same time!! As for this futuristic mobile, it's simply amazing!! The initial setup for device activation was obviously very easy and relatively fast. Of course, I was a little worried about transferring all the data from my old phone (Xiaomi Mi 8), but everything was done quickly with the Smart Switch app!! So, within 30 minutes, everything was perfect!! Additionally, for a week continuously and after purchasing the Set of the case and the S pen Fold Edition (after two weeks), I discovered more and more functions that the pen offers, making my life much easier. Now I know all its "buttons" and hidden features!! I bow down to Samsung and I will be forever grateful for such technological achievements!! What impressed me the most is that with a simple split-screen of two applications like Messenger and Gallery (photos/videos), I can select and drag with the pen to send as many photos as I want to each conversation. This can be done with other apps too!!
• Overall, it is a very user-friendly TOOL and very helpful, especially for me who has a high degree of astigmatism because that was the reason I spent so much money, and because of its portability, I don't regret it for a moment!! I know times are tough, but when something is a necessity and not just a desire, you don't consider anything!!
• It is worth noting that it is heavy, almost like carrying two phones together with the case, the pen, the 2 tempered glasses, and the protective cover for the cameras that I added for any eventuality (total weight 357gr.).
• In combination with the Galaxy buds2, the music experience is on another level, as well as the phone calls, because with the ANC, the surrounding sounds are completely isolated, along with all the external noises, so it is a magical experience. However, even without the earphones, the two speakers cover it all and it is the best when watching movies or series because the sound is shared and the visual-auditory experience is not annoying compared to other phones that have only one speaker!!
• The quality of the photos and videos is amazing even though the MP of the cameras may seem insufficient and low, with one exception. The 5th camera, which is a surprise (here we laugh), namely the under-display camera, is not the best (only 4MP), as according to Samsung, it is an experimental patent that will be developed over time, in other words, currently experimental. Also, the function of taking selfies with the main cameras is very interesting and useful because the photos come out with better resolution.
• The powerful processor never lags or heats up, unless I am outside. Then the sun does its job!!
• The 12 GB RAM is more than enough and it is impossible to use it all!!
• 2 in 1, meaning both a phone and a tablet.
• It is waterproof on one hand, but on the other hand, I am afraid to risk putting it in water because you never know what might happen!!
• Last but not least, the screen is very bright (1200 nits), to the point where it even dazzles me when it is relatively dimmed. However, under the strong rays of the sun (who knows why?), I find it a bit difficult to use.
=> The only thing that bothers me and in my opinion is the only negative aspect, is the battery and its overall autonomy. Specifically, the external screen, which is half the size of the internal one, easily lasts for 13 hours of continuous/intermittent use. In contrast, the internal screen, which is twice the size, barely lasts for 6 hours of continuous use. It should be noted that I calculated these indicative hours of autonomy after activating the dark mode in all applications and on the device itself, as well as enabling power-saving features, such as limiting the refresh rate to 60Hz instead of 120Hz, limiting the CPU to 70%, reducing brightness by 10%, disabling Always On Display, etc. Imagine how quickly the battery would drain if I had these features disabled!!
Taking all of the above into consideration, it is by far the best mobile phone available so far, as I was torn between the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but ultimately this one won me over despite the one negative aspect!!
If someone wishes to purchase a foldable smartphone, I would recommend this one because its price has dropped significantly, or they can wait a bit longer and go for the Z Fold4, which will be updated and have a better screen ratio, as the external screen in the new model will have a more normal aspect ratio and not as elongated, which personally doesn't bother me at all!!!
In the 13 months of use and while still under warranty, the internal screen has developed numerous scratches. As if that wasn't enough, there is also a black line half a point thick, causing the internal screen to no longer work. I took it to the dealership and they are asking for €600 (even though it's still under warranty) because they claim the screen has unrelated scratches! UNACCEPTABLE... I will also involve a consumer advocate
The general characteristics are very good, flawless in speed, quality, for photos, software, etc. The battery doesn't last long but this is normal due to the screen. The internal (large) screen was amazing both in size and in display quality. Unfortunately, however, it broke. Initially, half of it stopped working (not responding to touch), then part of the other half became overly bright, and eventually, it turned off completely. The above happened shortly after the warranty expired. The usage until then was normal and the device was well taken care of (especially the internal screen). Combined with its extremely high price (even though I bought it on sale), I would not recommend purchasing it due to this serious vulnerability.
The phone was purchased on 15.9.21 in 48 interest-free installments at the price of 1,950 euros! I have exactly one year left of installments. In the meantime...
First, the positives:
- You unfold it and you no longer need to use your laptop for browsing the internet.
- The device runs smoothly, it hardly ever freezes even after exactly 3 years.
- Good camera but it could be better...
On the negatives:
- Battery, for me who uses it all day, I might need to charge it three times... Especially on days when I spend a lot of time outside, I make sure to take a power bank...
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THOUGH...
Unfortunately, the fold technology is a disaster! I won't talk about the internal protective sticker that bubbled up and drove me crazy until I removed it... YES, IT'S USELESS otherwise you have to change it every 6 months! I will talk about the hinge and the internal screen!
At 16 months, at some point it suddenly wouldn't fold completely (instead of 180 degrees, meaning fully unfolded, I felt it at roughly 170 degrees). Since it was under warranty, they fortunately replaced it at no cost. However, in the next 20 months (a few weeks ago), because the internal screen scratched the hinge's spine, it suddenly developed a black stripe along it which eventually spread across the entire screen. Now I only use it with the external screen... They asked me for around 630 euros for the replacement of the internal screen and hinge. THERE'S NO WAY I'M FIXING IT AGAIN... I will just use it without folding until it dies!!! It's a shame though, if this phone didn't have such fundamental problems, I would keep it for many more years....
I wonder if there are owners who with normal use haven't had it break yet....
User of Samsung Z Fold 3 for almost 3 years now. I was thinking of upgrading to the 5 or the 6, but unfortunately, these phones have terrible issues with the mechanism that will eventually break, and the phone won't unfold all the way. Samsung will do everything to avoid compensating you, and the repair cost is €650 just for the spare part. Fortunately, after much effort, the warranty covered me. However, after a year, the same issues arose again, but this time to a much lesser extent. I decided to go to the service, and they told me they would open it up to see if it had picked up any debris or if the brushes were coming off again and getting tangled in the mechanism. I was informed that if the service breaks the screen while trying to fix it, it would be my risk, and I would have to pay for the €650 spare part. Unacceptable for a €2,000 phone. In short, these phones are good for only a year and a half because after that, they will definitely have issues with the mechanism or the screen. Think carefully before purchasing because Samsung can't do much for their repair other than replace almost the entire phone for €650, not including labor, of course. It's just a shame that such a company has not taken precautions for the proper repair of foldable phones. I have put a Spigen Slim Armor case on it, a screen protector on the camera, and a screen protector on the outer display without any scratches, especially after its repair under warranty. It’s better to switch companies because they do not treat their customers well at all, and the phone's price will drop significantly if it doesn't work properly, and you won't find a buyer. Just disappointment.
I bought it at the end of April 2022.
Very good phone, the large screen was incredibly helpful. Especially if you have presbyopia! I mainly used it for browsing, PDFs, and office work.
After 3 months, it started restarting randomly. I tried to see if it was caused by any app or update, I did a few factory resets, but nothing worked. I went to Samsung, they diagnosed the problem and replaced the motherboard.
Over time, the well-known cracking on the screen appeared, and they replaced it under warranty.
After 1.5 years, the screen stopped opening completely. I took it to Samsung, they examined it even with a magnifying glass for scratches, and agreed to fix it under warranty. They told me that the cost would be around $700 and that it was possibly the best-maintained Fold they had seen (it was always in a plastic case).
Just before the 2-year mark, I had another issue with the screen, I took it to Samsung and they told me that it was covered only once, and I had to pay $24.90.
Unfortunately, the numerous damages (I hadn't visited a service center since I had a Nokia 20+ years ago), despite already owning several Samsung devices (phones, tablets, smartwatches), and the comments I read in general about the expensive repairs, made me scared.
If we add the narrow front screen that I never got used to, and the difficulty I had in typing with the keyboard, the thickness when folded, and the fact that I couldn't mount it on a QuadLock holder on my bike, I decided to sell it as soon as the 2-year warranty expired and seriously consider if and when I will get another Fold phone.
I bought an S24 Ultra, which is an amazing phone, I miss the large screen, but I guess we can't have it all (yet).
The internal screen broke on its own a few months after the warranty expired. The issue is factory-related, Samsung knows about it and continues to sell it normally. The cost of repair approaches the purchase price. Samsung does not cover this and knows that this damage is their own fault. Thousands of owners worldwide have the same problem, search for "black line of death".
Stay away....wasted money, it does everything that all Androids do, but this is not a computer....the only good thing is the large screen for movies or YouTube and no games...nothing from the cameras...the s20 fe takes better photos.. The screens, both on the outside and inside, have the quality of a cheap Samsung, the colors have nothing to do with the S series..
The speaker is simply tragic for such a device....
The battery is terrible, not even half a day with slightly above normal usage and without 5g..(1.5 years of operation)
The overall build quality is very mediocre, don't make the mistake and drop it, not even from centimeters, the hinges bend, the external screen breaks for fun...open and close it, the frames of the internal screen have damage...
In terms of speed, it's just average...it freezes several times..
If they continue with these technologies, maybe they will improve them in the future, but now they are not worth it....
Use as a professional phone for 6 months.
- Teams, emails, and browsing on one screen simultaneously.
- Haven't used a laptop again... except at home.
- Good speakers for meetings, clear calls, fast screen, lightning-fast unlocking with fingerprint.
- Nice colors, bright screens even in strong sunlight.
- Average cameras compared to note 8...
Battery? It depends on usage... usually charge once every night... sometimes in the afternoon... if you watch videos on the big screen - movies etc for hours... you will charge a second time during the day...
I believe the phone is for a more specific use and not for heavy use all day long...
I would recommend it only to conscious high-end users at 700-800 euros.
The experience is very powerful and definitely goes beyond the boring usual use that all other smartphones offer
Stay away from the fold series.
Battery is terrible, the external screen is small, uncomfortable and has poor touch response, average photos, the factory screen protectors constantly come off and even though you are within warranty, they will only replace them once even though it is clearly a manufacturing error.
Finally, the price is outrageously high for what the phone offers.
For the same money, it is more beneficial to go for an iPhone.
After 1+ year of use. Tremendous phone-computer for as long as it works. If the "downhill" starts, there is no stop. I read in other comments that the cable of the internal speaker passes through the screen hinge, etc., and with all that opening and closing, it cuts off. And that's what happened. We started with the sound stopping. Then only one of the 2 screens was working. At first, the front screen (it didn't turn on) didn't work for about a week. Now only the outer one works and the inner one has no light. Generally, from all the opening and closing, when it starts to break, there is no going back, unless you want to spend 800 euros for the inner screen, as the speaker, etc., are changed along with the screen. Essentially, the device is useless. I can say that I am very satisfied with the device and its behavior for as long as it lasted. The conclusion is that it is a very good and at the same time very bad phone. What do I mean? That in one year after its purchase, you will be forced to throw it away and buy a Samsung Fold again because it is a great phone with a very limited lifespan. Well done, Samsung, you're fooling us.
I was a loyal customer of Samsung for years, but this particular phone is a complete disappointment. While the foldable screen is very useful, unfortunately, it is of poor quality. It constantly cracks at the folding point, and the tragic thing is that Samsung is looking for excuses to avoid replacing it!!! The first time it was replaced within warranty. The second time - 11 months after purchase - they refused to replace the cracked screen, citing cheap and baseless excuses!!! Unfortunately, it is obvious that Samsung itself has given such instructions to pretend to have baseless excuses and reasons for non-replacement. Stay away from Z-Fold phones, guys - the warranty does not apply!!! They are looking for excuses to avoid replacement!!! Unfortunately, with their cheap behavior, they managed to turn a loyal Samsung fan with more than 80 devices for personal and professional use (including mobile phones, tablets, and TVs) into someone who now hates the company!! Stay away from SAMSUNG - they don't deserve a single penny from you!!!

I have it for about a month now and despite its sensitivity as a smartphone, it is worth it as a whole. The inner screen may leave marks if you touch it with your nails, for example. The cameras are not anything special. I haven't encountered any issues so far. The price will always be high for these models until they become mainstream as well. I won't keep it because I'm heading towards fold 5. The 4 doesn't have significant differences.
Unfortunately, from the beginning of the purchase, the gel of the internal screen started to detach along the axis, at the point where the phone folds. Now, after 13 months, it is showing a black stripe that is spreading. I have been sending emails to the central offices in Greece for a week now and still no response. I personally approached an authorized service center and I am still waiting for a reply.
I bought it for 1899€ on 8/2021 (Silver 512 DS) and it is experiencing such a problem. According to research, unfortunately, the problem has appeared in many people from 3 to 12 months after purchase, even on the Samsung forum. What can I say? I am waiting to see what they will tell me and I will come back.
Unacceptable situation... I do not recommend buying it until the technology matures.

after 11 months of use, the internal screen, on a nice Sunday morning, cracked and broke in half!
due to a minor external sign on the screen, they removed it from the warranty.
after a 2-day dispute with Samsung and the technical department, it finally passed the warranty, and they made it new.
In short, an amazing phone, but it's not ready yet for such technology... very sensitive with strict dealership and expensive spare parts if something goes wrong and you're out of warranty
I got a pretty good mobile phone for 750 used and it's really a gem. Quite heavy but it's all a matter of habit. I have it solely for work as I have rooms and it helps me see the reservations. Incredible screen and it's very convenient. The sound is quite loud at 750, it's good.
Good evening from me too... Owner of the z fold 3 here for a week.. Allow me to share my first impressions. First of all, I must say that I am 30 years old and for as long as I can remember, I have strictly been using Samsung products as I am satisfied with their mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets. However, today I have the Galaxy Watch 4 in combination with the A80 (no need for words about the A80, it excels in durability, speed, and responsiveness to my work) as well as the S7 11" LTE tablet (a powerhouse... it even makes coffee). Let's get back to the point... Z Fold 3 for 1400 euros, what a waste... I didn't understand why I spent that much money and the reviews I read were useless... a line on the screen from the moment I made a call? Why? Did I spend money for this? The camera? Where is it? Unless I need glasses or you have any NASA applications to suggest... and finally, the non-existent speaker for me... okay, the speed and responsiveness are good... therefore, my Cretan children... for me, it wasn't worth it, it needs many improvements, a poor effort...!!

It is an amazing phone, excellent camera, battery, screen, and the colors are mind-blowing when watching movies, etc. I've had it for 9 months and it's still going strong
12 GB RAM, you can't even think and it's done! Anything!! Stunning phone, the camera simply laughs with the 13 Pro, the sound is like a mini-cinema with depth, the frame has a space-like feel and the battery easily lasts all day, and I have the screen full and multitasking constantly running 5 things due to work. It's the ABSOLUTE, superior to Note and S22u and of course to the apple that disappointed me for 4 months. Get it yesterday!!

Pros:
- Incredible display when unfolded, with amazing colors and smooth scrolling at 120hz.
- Excellent sound performance.
- The camera performance, both in photos and videos, is impressive, despite being based on previous generation hardware. Nighttime photos and 4K videos are the best I have tested.
- Very fast operation, without any lag or delays.
- The stylus adds that extra something needed for full utilization in foldable mode.
Cons:
- With such a price, the packaging should include more than just a simple cable.
- The external screen is slightly narrower than regular devices and requires some getting used to.
- Internal screen camera.
I did not include the price in the cons, as I believe the device offers a unique technology and it is up to each individual's judgment whether it is worth paying for. However, it can easily replace the simultaneous use of a mobile phone and a tablet.

Coming from Samsung s10+. I have had the phone for three months already, it is unbelievably amazing in every aspect. Anyone who decides to get it will find it very difficult to go back to a conventional phone.
The mobile is out of this world. Years of being an iPhone and Note user. This is literally the definition of a Phablet. If you are a professional, you forget about tablets. It does everything perfectly. Full functionality with office and if you have a little appetite, you can see the capabilities of Dex (where it is definitely not perfect) taking you to another level of functionality and productivity. At its current price, it is literally an opportunity and it is worth every penny.
A phone that if you can open it, it is the ABSOLUTE best.
I say if you can open it because if you work on foot it is not the most convenient, but if you are in an office or generally can open it, then the matter ends there, it is the best, you can't go back to a regular phone. Very fast, the Snapdragon (I think the only Samsung that comes to Europe with Snapdragon) exemplary in everything. Stable connection in wifi connections, something I never had with Exynos. Battery lasts a day unless you drain it. Very nice sound. The stylus on the big screen is amazing. I use it for photo editing, which is my hobby, and the combination of the big screen with the stylus makes me unable to imagine going back to a regular phone unfortunately. I ran out of options, guys! :P Good camera but doesn't have much zoom like the S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra. Overall, to help you, think if you can open it. If yes, don't look elsewhere. You will marry it and won't be able to live without it. If you can't open it, then there is no reason for a Fold and you should look at any other regular phone. I hope I helped.
Unbelievable the experience of using the foldable mobile. I don't think I will ever go back to a regular device.
Good evening everyone, I would like to inform you that this particular mobile phone is taken from the Note 2 movie, first contact 5 years, Note 8 four and a half years, and finally Fold 3 512gb. I think it is the number one multitasking mobile phone, incredibly fast and without any lag, with pinned programs and many applications due to work, Business suite pages manager from many websites, banks, all social media and their management. What I noticed is that this beast, with its 12 GB RAM, easily handles everything at 6.1 full. I would like to note that the sound is amazing with some small adjustments due to the speaker, both bottom and top. Also, I would like to mention that the battery for this beast lasts just for a full day of use. It has balanced out after the initial setup, lasting for one and a half days. As for the photos, I haven't taken many, but it hasn't impressed me as much as the notes did. It takes decent photos, but that's about it. Finally, it is combined with the genuine Samsung case with a classical stylus. If I have any updates, I will let you know
The phone is incredible, I can't imagine myself using a non-foldable phone again. Of course, the phone has improvements but nothing that would disappoint me about my choice. The battery is not the phone's strong point, so I don't give it 5 stars!!!
Coming from the Samsung Note 10+, I did not expect to be so impressed with the phone. The user experience is unparalleled.
Positives:
1. Very smooth operation.
2. AMAZING internal screen.
3. Very fast.
4. Very good cameras (better than the Note 10+).
5. Very sturdy construction.
6. Waterproof.
7. You can use the main cameras for selfies!
8. Noticeably smaller dimensions than the Note 10+ when folded (except for thickness).
9. The experience with the stylus is amazing, even though it's not Bluetooth (only works on the internal screen).
10. Comes with Snapdragon instead of Exynos.
11. Despite its large size, it fits well in the hand. Of course, it requires the use of both hands.
12. The fingerprint sensor is very fast and accurate, on the power button. No comparison to the terrible under-display sensors that require luck and persistence to work.
Negatives:
1. The battery, while not bad, could be a little bigger. Having such a phone, you will inevitably use it more, resulting in draining the battery. With sensible use, it lasts a day. If you get carried away, it needs a refuel after noon.
2. The phone is heavy and thick when closed, without being particularly bothersome to use or carry in a pocket.
3. The case with the stylus, which comes with the phone in some offers, is ergonomically very uncomfortable. I immediately ordered another one.
4. The quality of the under-display selfie camera is mediocre. The camera itself is slightly noticeable, but it is definitely much more discreet than a punch hole, let alone a notch!
Conclusion: There is no going back after this phone.

Bought two weeks ago......you shouldn't rate the fold 3 as a regular phone because it simply isn't a regular phone. It is a reliable device, fast, and with a higher level of build quality.
The external screen, although narrow, is sufficient to cover all your daily needs. Personally, I use the external screen for almost 70% of the day. This provides me with a considerable amount of autonomy because it doesn't consume as much energy as the internal screen.
Now, when you unfold the device and reveal the internal screen, things change. Automatically, you have a mini tablet, multitasking soars, games are a delight, and functionality is off the charts.
The battery, with the large screen, I would say is simply satisfactory, it could be better.
As for the cameras, they satisfy me to a great extent. Despite the fact that it is not a flagship, I have managed to take amazing photos, with the only drawback being that the maximum optical zoom is 2x, a small compromise for me.
The price is quite high, but here we are talking about a 2-in-1 device. I believe that no one will be disappointed with the overall experience.
If you decide to purchase this specific device, I would recommend a very good case. It will help both in holding the device throughout the day and in protecting it.
My rating, four stars, is purely because I would like a better battery when using the internal screen and slightly more comprehensive cameras without being disappointing.
I have had the mobile (template) in my possession for a week and there is simply no comparison with any other mobile on the market right now because it is not just a mobile phone but much more. The battery lasts me a day, I would like more but I don't mind, I am satisfied with all the other capabilities of the mobile.
It gave me a green line in the center of the screen. I sent it for service and, as usual, they declared it out of warranty due to moisture. Unfortunately, an incredible device with the worst service. I took care of it like my own eyes, there was no chance of any trace of moisture.
