I just pruned a walnut tree and the wood was cut for the fireplace! From small branches to large trunks. Amazing! It used almost 2 batteries 5ah, I worked for an hour and a half.
It doesn't make even half the cuts it describes, I do not recommend it. At first, I thought it was defective and sent it back, but they confirmed to me that this is its capability. The battery (new) lasts about 20 minutes for small diameter branches.
Very powerful. It cuts easily and quickly, and most importantly, its battery lasts a long time. It is light enough to hold with one hand if you want. The instructions say to empty the chain oil after the end of the work, follow it because oil will slowly run out from below. Maybe this is the only disadvantage unless mine is faulty and it shouldn't happen at all.
The tool is awesome, it's worth its money.
You put oil, press a button, and it works.
No clogging, no shutting off, pull the cord, it doesn't move forward... Forget about all that!
Quiet and powerful.
If you want to cut logs (40cm-50cm) for work, it needs a 9-amp battery, with a 5-amp it easily gets tired and stops. And if you're going to buy a 5-amp, you need the latest one that Dewalt has released with longer durability. The classic 5-amp runs out very quickly.
Very good tool. I didn't expect at all that it would cut so satisfactorily, quickly and easily. It is absolutely worth its money!
Only for amateur use and only if batteries from another tool, e.g. a screwdriver, are available, just to avoid gasoline.
I don't have experience with chainsaws, but I am very satisfied with this purchase!! I have cut several logs with a diameter of 40 inches. Of course, they are big for its size, but it handled them well!
One day owner I stayed quite satisfied with a full charge I needed to fill one and a half times the chain oil. Quite silent without any smells like gasoline chainsaws. With one battery it gave me a trunk full of car.
Of course, you will need to have quality chain oil, personally I use Husqvarna oil, where I am quite satisfied.
Of course, for a 5 amp battery, do not expect too much if you can have another spare then you are complete.
Personally, I will buy another battery
Excellent tool for amateur use that I have. I cut branches up to 20-22 cm in diameter and it didn't get stuck anywhere, even though it doesn't lack power compared to gasoline.
With a 5Ah battery, I filled the luggage space with fresh pine wood.
No comparison to gasoline that smells and you have to pull the cord to start, here with the push of a button you start cutting, no clogs, no oily spark plug, no smoke!
Only good chain oil and a cleaning after use is needed.
I recommend it without a second thought.
Pay attention to proper use and always take the necessary safety measures to avoid injury.
Okay guys, I'm not saying that the machine for cutting branches like the ones in the photo is good, but if someone wants to cut larger and harder trunks more easily, it's better to get the Total TGSLI2001. I, who cut the same trunk with both (and both were new), noticed a difference. And the most important thing is that the TOTAL is also cheaper.
Since the day I got it, it feels like a tooth jumping into the gear from where it gives motion to the chain.
As already mentioned in a comment here, at first it doesn't catch your eye. However, the work it produces makes you see it in a different light. It takes some time to get used to it.
The battery lasts about as long as a full tank in a gasoline car, maybe a little longer, and charges in an hour. Satisfactory performance, very convenient and quiet compared to two-strokes and without gasoline consumption. PS It looks absolutely beautiful! After 2 months, I will simply upload a photo with a log that was cut with half a battery!
At first, it didn't catch my eye. But it turned out to be a useful tool, I have it for pruning olive trees. Its biggest advantage is that with a push of a button, it starts working. However, in order to have a fully productive day, you need to buy a second battery
It was purchased for simple branch cutting and ended up being the main cutting tool. Quiet, powerful, and cuts branches 5-10 cm as if they were butter. If someone has Dewalt tools and 18v batteries, it is worth buying this specific tool.

It is worth the money and more
The only disadvantage is that the oil filling area is always a bit wet.
I have it for 2 years for pruning, it is the best. The battery lasts about 3 hours of continuous use
Very good chainsaw. I highly recommend it, great capabilities for a 5-star battery
