Wrong choice, does not improve the signal. In spaces far from the router, it still has a much better signal and speed than the router from this specific model TP-LINK RE500X. Do not be swayed by the impressive description of the technology features it is supposed to have. Additionally, if your router does not support Mesh network, this model operates like the other cheaper models of the company without any difference at all.
