Latest generation gasoline chainsaw with EURO 5 engine. It operates with a 3.5 horsepower gasoline engine and a displacement of 54.5cc. You can move freely as it does not depend on cables and sockets. With a weight of 5.2 kg and a bar length of 50cm, it is ideal for cutting wood, firewood, and large trees. Additionally, it features easy start technology so you don't need to apply much force to the recoil starter during startup.

For the money, it's just right; I haven't had any problems so far. The chainsaw starts on the first try with a good mix of oil and chain, it doesn't disappoint. I also noticed that it is very powerful; it has some muscle. I'm talking about the PC4100
I have had it for two years, used for pruning and cutting. So far, it ignites easily with considerable cutting power. I agree with a previous review regarding the side screws that hold the anti-vibration springs. The left one came off after pruning a walnut tree. I found it, screwed it back on, but it tends to unscrew, so I secured it with electrical tape and so far it hasn't caused me any problems. I got it for 90 euros on Black Friday. For the money, it's incredible. I should also add that when it's off, it leaks a little oil from the oil pump. I'm talking about the pc4100
If it didn't have some flaws, it would definitely have 5 stars! For 99€! The most serious problem was that the side caps, which are the shock absorbers to keep the head in relation to the handles in the center, come off easily (one came off without me realizing it). It was rectangular, and the trigger didn't work properly. The consumption seems a bit higher than the branded ones, but it doesn't lack power according to its cubic capacity. Later, it will definitely need more branded items like a chain blade and spark plug. Finally, the well-known issue with the chain lubrication pump seems to remain, meaning it leaks when it's off. It seems that Nakayama has made strides forward with this new series, especially in the engine
After 45 minutes of setup, within 2 days (July 38°C) I cut 12 tons of oak thick 15-40cm. The machine didn't notice anything, it didn't even need sharpening at the end. Very powerful and perfect for its price of €150
The chainsaw is literally durable, I have pushed it to its limits after a little warm-up always at idle to reach the temperature, it is the law, so far it has not suffered anything except that I changed the blade because it is not resistant and it got worn out, it broke into pieces for fun. It was replaced with an Oregon and now there is no issue. My opinion is that for €155 that I bought it here 2 years ago, it has cut many tons and has exceeded every limit, it has not missed a beat.
Attention, the chain needs to be replaced with a branded one right from the start (20€, it's not a big cost). Also, the bolts of the regulator on my machine have broken, and I can't remove the blade or the chain. It does its job well for €150 - until it needs service, then things become difficult. It would have been better if I had gone straight to a branded one...
Very good, for starters everyone should know that if they intend to cut wood, they should have basic knowledge of operating a chainsaw... I see negative comments but without knowing the user's knowledge who is reading them... the 4610 that I bought is very good and relatively advanced in terms of e5 specifications. As for the paper filter, I'm not crazy about it. Okay, it has a cleaner intake but it also has its drawbacks because as we know, paper and moisture are not good friends... it works very well and effortlessly, it's just a bit choked by high fuel to prevent overheating, but if you know and reduce the fuel in the high setting without drying it out and burning it, it can reach around 3+ hp. For cutting mulberry trees, olives, and eucalyptus continuously, it works great. Definitely recommend for purchase!
I could never complete its assembly because the lid wouldn't snap on at all, so I returned the machine. I never went through the process of getting another one. The 4 hours I wasted are enough.
A saw that is worth its money seems quite good. Its start is very easy, I didn't expect it to be so easy. Overall, it is a very good purchase. I don't believe that for 120-130 euros you will find something more valuable to do your job. The only negative thing I found, which may not be negative, is that it has a lot of oil leakage on the chain. But I had it on the maximum setting, when I put it in the middle it hardly leaked at all, so I put it on the maximum. It's better for it to release more oil than not release any oil at all. Now it will show over time how long it will last
It starts immediately but it is a bit heavy. The champion spark plug it uses needs to be changed with an ngk one and the chain needs to be replaced with a branded one. Honest for its price...
Recent purchase I haven't cut many woods yet, from the few it cut for testing I have to say that it is quite powerful for its cubic capacity without vibrations, it has easy start and overall for its price I think it's fine.
First contact with a 54cc chainsaw, the previous ones were 38cc. In the approximately 4 hours that I used it, 3 hours were for cutting small logs and one hour for larger ones, with breaks at idle between cuts to prevent overheating, it didn't give me any problems. It has enough power and the sound is heavy. The paper filter is excellent and creates a perfect seal with the carburetor. The weight of the unit without the blade, chain, and fluids is 5.531 Kg, the blade weighs 1 Kg, and the chain weighs 0.289 Kg, so in total it is 6.820 Kg. It is well balanced, even when it is full of fluids. The easy-start system makes starting the game easier, it starts more easily than the 38cc.
As a negative, I can say that the oil flange for the blade is a problem because it needs to have several of them since it sticks to the blade from the oil and usually gets cut when you try to remove the blade.
That's all for now, time will tell about its durability!

I was looking for a powerful chainsaw at an affordable price. After research, I ended up with the Nakayama Pro PC5610. It has a 2-year warranty and there are spare parts and technicians in Greece. Manuals and instructions are all in Greek with good assembly and usage instructions. Already in the first cuts - hard, dry wood, some of the hardest woods out there - the tool proved that its technical specifications (cubic capacity and horsepower) are absolutely true. Flawless, fast cutting without vibrations. The saw is very well balanced and combined with its power, its use is much more comfortable than other lighter, less powerful ones. I highly recommend it for starters. Time will show the rest... I will update in due course!
Build quality, better than expected.
I'll go straight to what someone would like to know:
1) The engine works perfectly and has a lot of power.
2) It's lightweight for its power and cuts logs that I cut today for 1-1.5 hours. I let it idle for 15-20 minutes and then worked it at half throttle so as not to strain it too much, but still I easily did my job quickly.
Very satisfied.
I would like to point out that as soon as I opened it and assembled it, I replaced the spark plug (Champion brand) with an NGK. I used Castrol 2T oil for a 3% mixture (30ml per liter) and good ATF oil for the chain (around 7-8€ per liter). The only thing I want to change is to slightly lower the idle, because even at idle, it takes a while for the chain to stop, it spins very easily, obviously due to the good quality oil I used and because it is new, unlike other chainsaws I have seen, where the chain even strains you a bit with your hand.
10/10 from me for now and I hope it will remain trouble-free.
I wanted to get a Stihl... I already have the 170 and it's a beast.... I wanted a bigger one with a 45-50 cm bar, but for Stihl, it would cost around 400 euros... with reservations, I got it from a dealer here on the island where you don't have many options.... first impression, the quality is quite inferior... the first negative I noticed immediately is that the on-off button is terrible quality, I think it will break soon.... by itself... but okay, this can be resolved with a sturdier button.... other than that, I've done a few cuts, a total of half an hour from five-minute uses where I cut logs on a saw horse into smaller pieces for the stove, and it's just fine.... it has enough power... if you use the choke correctly, meaning to keep it open, crank it 2-3 times until it starts, and then close the choke and it starts immediately.... I can say it starts quite easily like the Stihl. I got it because I found it on a 30% discount, meaning from 180 I got it for 120.... and since I won't use it much... at first, it seemed heavy, but I eventually got used to it.... for 120 euros, I think it will cover me for the occasional use I want... maybe the chain needs better quality.
update 26/1/2025. third year and its end has come.... I believe I am largely to blame.... as I have been cutting vertically for the last 2 weeks, so I don't tear with the axe and my whole body hurts afterward.... we're talking about cutting almost the length of the bar, meaning 40-45 cm for 10-15 minutes non-stop, and even though the exhaust got hot, I didn't stop.... at some point, the handbrake melted near the exhaust, which is logical.... I removed the brake..... and the next day I continued.... at the same pace.... for 10-15 minutes it was running full throttle non-stop...... suddenly it started to misfire and stall..... I changed the spark plug.... because I thought that was the issue....... I continued the next day until it suddenly stalled for the last time.... I went to pull the starter and there was no compression at all..... I saw a crack near the outer part of the piston and I understood..... if it had spare parts, I would say it's a very good choice.... without spare parts, it essentially makes it a one-time use.... if something breaks, that's it.... but for 3 years, I have been cutting non-stop from the forest to the house in small pieces for the stove..... at least 12-15 cubic meters every year...... RIP NAKAYAMA...... I think it held up quite well....
I bought this specific Nakayama pc4100 gasoline chainsaw on "Black Friday" and I can say that I didn't expect it to be so reliable and powerful for its cubic capacity! It really is worth its money! Of course, time will tell!
The cheapest Chinese product on the market, a waste of money. I bought it three weeks ago, it worked for half an hour and then broke down. I took it to the mechanic and he told me that the carburetor is damaged. It has a 2-year warranty, but what am I supposed to do? I have to send it from Rhodes to Athens, pay for shipping back and forth, and wait for a month. It also has a very difficult time shifting gears. It is a powerful machine and cuts satisfactorily, but you have to be lucky to get it into gear.
5/11/22. I have it for 2 days and so far, everything is good. It easily cut a trunk with a diameter of 70cm. It needs a strong tightening of the lid screws (I also added extra wheels) because it constantly loosens. Okay, it's Chinese and it shows, but if it withstands time and does its job, why should we pay €1000 for branded ones? Additionally, I noticed that Nakayama offers a 2-year warranty, while the other Chinese ones only offer 1. I will come back for a newer evaluation after more use.
Guys, the 4600 is different from the 4610 (distinguished by the color white/orange). The first one is a hobby machine with various issues that other users have commented on, and the second one is professional. The 30-50€ price difference is completely justified.
So, let's go:
a) It cuts smoothly without applying any force. Even on its first use, it cut immediately despite not having a bubble level! It probably has some kind of special feeding system!
b) It is lightweight (only 4.9kg) and not 5.5kg as the link states.
c) Perfectly balanced, without vibrations.
d) It might struggle with thicker trunks than the blade, and if you're not skilled, it might get stuck. It cuts smaller trunks effortlessly.
e) It is a slow-speed machine, stable, and fatigue-free.
f) It is fuel-efficient.
g) It gets very hot. Be careful not to touch the exhaust.
h) It is worth its price and delivers on its promises. I highly recommend it. HV models are now a thing of the past for me... They didn't even pay off, and I switched to this one. You pay for the brand... Especially now that everything is Chinese-made.
A chainsaw that does it all. Not too big, but not too small, convenient for medium-sized trees, but also ideal for cutting firewood. It starts very easily. With one tank fill, it gave me +1/3 more cutting time, maybe due to the new Euro 5 gas technology. I would describe it as a Swiss army knife chainsaw. I also have other Nakayama chainsaws and I am very satisfied
It was purchased to have a large chainsaw in case it is needed for large logs, but it quickly impressed me because even though it is large, it is so well balanced that you feel it in your hands like a feather. When you press the throttle after the halfway point, it quickly increases the speed and doesn't even stop on difficult wood. The EASY START handle makes starting a breeze! One very positive aspect is the air filter, which is made of paper and not plastic, something that we only find in professional chainsaws
From the first use, the impressions are excellent. Easy start, low consumption, good chain. In a field with 15 olive trees and other trees, the machine didn't even notice anything. I didn't expect that with this money I would do the job that I used to do with my father's Stihl MS310. I recommend it
I had to get a saw this year because I had 3 broken trees at home that needed to be completely removed. We're talking about large pines that had gradually fallen mainly due to snowfall. The thing is, another one had broken last year and I bought a saw that didn't even cost 100 euros since I only had that to do. I didn't even cut the tree and in the end I threw it away. So, this year I went and a friend of mine who has a machinery store told me to get the Nakayama PC4100. It worked non-stop for 2 days and it really impressed me. I didn't expect that by paying an extra 50 euros I would get such a saw. The noise was okay and the most important thing was the consumption... it really doesn't burn much. Also, I have to mention that it starts right away. Get the PC4100 and you will remember me!
I bought it to cut medium branches and small trunks. Amateur use. It started relatively easily. It worked for 40 minutes. It shut off and never started again. I wasted my money.
The store I visited told me to get this model with my eyes closed. I thought Nakayama only had amateur products, but in the end, this tool "kills it". It is much better than the professional one I had before this, which I had to throw away.
