A friend gave it to me because he didn't need it. Good image quality and easy control through the app, it is mainly for indoor use.
One downside is that if, for example, the power is cut off, it needs to be very close to the router to reconnect automatically (regardless of whether it is within the range of the Wifi).
Also, the motion or people detector is very unstable and unreliable, and often gets triggered by small changes in light or the rustling of plants (especially in outdoor spaces like a balcony).
In short, it's a good little camera to keep an eye on the space, but obviously not for serious or professional use.
I had bought it about a year ago and decided to install it last week. The capabilities through the application are quite satisfactory. Perfect image day and night with continuous recording. It's worth its money. It even captures mosquitoes at night.
Flawless and easy to use with its mobile application. The only thing I don't know if it works correctly is the motion detection. However, I don't think it works. It only sends me a notification on my phone when I enter the application to check what's going on... If you want it for something like that, I don't think it will meet your needs.
Regular theft, pulling and lawsuit. We bought so many Xiaomi cameras, assuming that they supported surveillance function. Suddenly, they turned the function into a service and ask for a subscription. Devoted Xiaomi customers do not deserve such blackmail. No subscription, nor will I ever buy another product of theirs.
I bought it for 33 euros 4 years ago...now that they have added a subscription...it is +72 euros, which means in other words 105 euros. For 72 euros, I can get a higher-level camera without a subscription. I don't recommend it, it's a very bad choice.
My wife got it from a credit card that we recently received and I installed it recently. It has a pretty good image both during the day and at night. I disagree with the following points, as it provides notifications and records 9-second clips. It also has a micro SD slot, which I haven't used yet to see if it creates any issues as they mention. It has two-way audio capability and the 360 feature works well, but if you touch it high up, the downward angle may not be as satisfactory. However, if you mount it vertically on the wall with the base provided in the box, it gives a much better range. It connects easily through the network and has a relatively long (2m) USB to micro cable, and it requires a 5V2A power adapter to operate, so if you don't have a spare one, keep that in mind. It has the option for motion detection and person detection. I must say that it even captures very small movements, like in the past few nights, it sends notifications for a mosquito passing by. I hope I helped those who want to purchase it.
The only negative thing it has is its program that doesn't have Greek. There is another equally reliable company for about the same price where the entire program menu is in Greek. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it, that's why 3 stars. The company could add Greek.
Very good but now they ask for a €6 monthly subscription to see the notifications. I have several models and only one outdoor model has not stopped yet. I believe they will gradually ask for it there too. Unacceptable.
Very good for its price. Recently I also bought the 2K version, which is also good. In both cases, if you activate the motion detection notifications, you will receive notifications for flying insects as well, which can be annoying sometimes. However, for the boiler room where I have it, I don't risk not receiving notifications, so everything is fine for me. And the app is great for my taste.
Initially, it worked as promised, but gradually the disconnections started until there was not a day without a disconnection, all requiring manual restart and reconnection. It was replaced with a model from eufy and we'll see. It's not worth the hassle to purchase it.

I have them for 6 months. Flawless, especially one of them. Terrace on the fifth floor with an exposed porch in the north of Thessaloniki and in drizzles-rain even in a "covered" area. They don't disconnect, I move them immediately from the application, they do not automatically track moving objects, very sensitive to the slightest movement, very good image during the day and night with pitch darkness good image, with a little cloudiness... as if it's daytime! Black and white function is very good, satisfactory sound. 32 gig SD card here we break them, as soon as it fills up it needs formatting-clearing, you can sign up for "xiaomi home security to get a full video record" so no cards or empty recordings. Don't be fooled by the image when the crazy storm comes with rain it becomes a massacre! I find it with many drops only
I give it one star and I will explain why:
1. I go to install it and it tells me that I need to reset the camera with a pin that we use to insert the SIM card into the mobile phone. I search for the pin in the package... the pin is nowhere to be found. I search again, nothing. Luckily, I had kept one that I use for my mobile phone when I need to change the SIM card.
2. I try to connect a second person so that we can control the camera as a family, but no one can connect except for me. I prepare it for one of the family members and just when it's ready, the ownership is transferred to that family member and that's it. NOTHING HAPPENS. So only one person can view the camera.
3. The worst of all... IT HAS NOT SENT ME A SINGLE MOTION DETECTION NOTIFICATION TO MY MOBILE DEVICE. I mean, in order to see if someone entered the house or if the dog entered, or whatever, I have to go into the XIAOMI application myself, go to the notifications, and there I can see that it has recorded motion in the room. It hasn't sent a single notification to my mobile phone. The mobile device I have is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Even if I tried to restart the application, the mobile phone, the settings in general... nothing, the same problem continues.
I am truly disappointed.
DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA.

I have it for almost 1 year at 25€ and it is flawless, I have used it in an outdoor space for a long period of time and it didn't experience any issues. The only difference is that recently, with the new year, it exited the application for unknown reasons, but I reinstalled it and everything is okay. To do this, you need to first reset it from the hole located below the card slot!
Good value for money wifi camera for indoor use. Satisfactory image quality combined with mi home, which does not have advertisements like some other Chinese brands, makes it extremely functional.
After 5 months of use, it stopped transmitting images. It was connected (e.g. turning on and off remotely) but it did not transmit any image. I sent it back to the store and they refunded me. I also have another one that has been working flawlessly for 8 months now in a dusty environment.
I have 5 of these (I had 3 and bought 2 more), and I haven't encountered any problems at all. The problems that I read about, I think they are probably connectivity/phone connection issues. Or maybe faulty models? Check it out guys because you're probably not doing something right. For the money, they are overpriced.
It flickers constantly at night, records in 360p and 1440p only when you go to see what's going on, sometimes it doesn't even record and I have to restart it, overall I'm looking for another one to replace it.
Too bad, it could have been good but there are too many disconnections. One of the two I have installed is very problematic. Also, it doesn't recognize tempered glass screens when you scan it. Ridiculous
I couldn't install it. It gets stuck at the point where it asks to connect to WiFi and it starts the pairing process on its own again, no matter what device I try, whether it's Samsung or Xiaomi.
The notifications you receive for motion detection are... without sound and every 3 minutes!!!
So, if you're sleeping and someone enters your house, you never see it!!!!
