They are the first and only lenses I have ever worn, I have been using them for 6 years now without any issues or irritation.
I bought them but the left one is loose and it bothers me a lot after the first application, even with perfect maintenance, it bothers you a lot in half a month.
I have been wearing contact lenses for 25 years. The problem with them is that although they are excellent in every aspect, I cannot take them out no matter what. I know it sounds funny... but it's true.
Having tried almost all types and brands of contact lenses, I can say that I believe I have found the Air Optix to be the best in terms of quality, fit, and price. Each eye is naturally different, so personally, you need to try all the lenses to see which one suits you.
Just for reference, I always found Bausch & Lomb Comfort and Cooper Vision Biofinity to be a good fit for my eyes. The only complaint I had with Bausch & Lomb was that they were very soft, which caused them to flip and made me struggle to find the correct side. With Cooper Vision, I had the problem that they were a bit too hard for my taste and they would tire me after 6 hours. Air Optix came as the perfect middle solution and covered these issues, so if you have a similar problem like mine, I recommend them.
They don't tire me at all even after 8-10 hours, they fit perfectly upon placement, and they are relatively affordable.
I have been choosing them systematically for the last 3 years. I am the classic type of person who "wakes up at 7 in the morning and takes them out at 23:00". Much superior compared to other lenses.
For me, the best on the market, and I have tried many brands, while wearing contact lenses for 28 years in general. Very comfortable in the eye, with satisfactory thickness and very moisturizing. I don't change them with anyone.
I wore them for about ten years without any problems, but suddenly I started feeling my eyes bad. Tired, irritated, and dry sometimes. For a while, I thought I had allergies or conjunctivitis, but when I changed lenses, I saw that the problem stopped. I had so much trust in them that I didn't believe the lenses were the cause. And yet, I now have intolerance to air optix. Maybe it's my eyes' fault, I don't know. But for me, they are no longer suitable, and I'm looking for alternatives to see where I will end up eventually. However, I haven't felt this discomfort with others now that I'm trying others to see where I will finally go.
Very good, but in the last year I had three defective ones. One got cut and the others in different batches simply didn't fit on the eye at all from any side, as if both sides were upside down. Now to avoid it, I'm getting the hydraglyde, which are a bit more expensive, but I would like to trust them again. Of course, regardless of the defects, personally I made a mistake all these years that I was reducing their quality by using other brand's fluids. With the same company's fluids, I saw a different duration and much better comfort!
I bought these specific lenses for a while and decided, due to cost, to buy some cheaper ones from another company. I thought, no big deal, how much of a difference could they make? But the difference is huge, especially for me who used them for many hours a day. They don't "cut" or bother me like the cheaper ones, and the first day of use is the same as the last.
The first contact lenses I tried. Among the few that allow such good oxygenation of the eye. Due to the price, I tried cheaper ones, but after just a few days, I went back to the air optix aqua. I wear them from morning till night and only a few times have they bothered my eyes, and that was after excessive eye strain or staying up all night. The only reason I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is now a new and even more improved version available, air optix glyde.
They are the only lenses that I don't even feel like I'm wearing!
They don't get blurry.
Comfortable as if you're not wearing them.
They don't cause irritation or dry eyes.
Simply wonderful!
I've been wearing them for years... Once I decided to change them and I regretted it!
I may have come across a faulty batch, but they seemed much inferior compared to the rave reviews I had read about them. They are very hard and rigid at their edges and give a sense of foreign particles. They tend to dry out quickly
