My 88-year-old mother used it. After the first 4-5 days, she started complaining about discomfort in the throat and difficulty swallowing. The ENT specialist did not find any problem and told us that it is either psychological or due to some medication. We stopped using the product and the discomfort stopped. We started using it again and the same issues reappeared. I should note that she did not experience similar discomfort with other folic acid supplements. I mention this as a side effect in case it appears in someone else, I don't want to discourage the purchase.
