It has a maximum power of up to 1600W to cover different quantities and needs of foods such as fish and meat in a short amount of time. Make sure to preheat it for 5 minutes to reach the desired temperature in order to achieve the best possible even cooking. The lid closes and helps to maintain the desired temperature of the grill.
Easy Cleaning
It is easy to clean, as the part with the resistance can be removed. At the same time, it is useful to place a piece of aluminum foil with a little water at the bottom so that the fats do not fall directly onto the metal and require scrubbing.
Practical Design
It features foldable handles that offer flexibility in transportation and storage.
At a glance!
Power: 1600W
Built-in safety cable
Includes grill (double with folding handles 30 x 41 cm)

I have tried it on fish, butterfly chicken, as well as portions, steaks, and vegetables. It includes a grill with handles for easy flipping. You turn it once to cook and from the other side the food, and in 20 minutes it is ready. The butterfly chicken takes more time due to its size but cooks slowly inside and the skin is crispy like on charcoal. Delicious, well-cooked, and the lid is very useful for the aromas. With 1600 watts, it cooks without burning the food. However, be careful not to touch the lid. It burns. A lot, because it has the heating element underneath.
It has a large cooking surface so we can avoid filling the grill multiple times and it cooks quickly. We already have a similar electric grill from another company with 1200w which we are very satisfied with overall. However, we bought the Phoenix AN-650 due to its higher power and cooking surface but clearly, it is inferior to the 1200w. A major disadvantage is the fact that the top lid does not detach from the heating element, resulting in the inability to wash it, unlike the first grill. Also, the build quality (metal and plastic parts) is low, with the depth of the "trays" (top and bottom lid) being small, which means it is not feasible to grill something that has a somewhat large thickness like a big fish. As for the grill, I also have doubts about its durability because it is thinner, as are the trays, compared to the grill from the other grill we have, which is sturdier and has shown durability in grilling, we have had it for over 2 years. The price for all the above reasons should be at least -50%.
Cheap construction. It is good for up to 2-3 people, not more.
I do not put water underneath. I place aluminum foil underneath to make cleaning easier.
Whatever I grill (meat, fish, vegetables) I brush it with a little oil, otherwise it sticks to the grill. Also, whatever you put, make sure it is not too thick, because the grill will touch the resistance and the grill will not close properly, resulting in the food not being cooked.
I clean it after every grilling because I believe that if you leave it dirty, the metal will start to corrode. Cleaning it is a hassle.
The most important advantage is that you eat healthily, as the fats fall down.
Excellent grill!!! It cooks quite fast and evenly!!
Just be careful regarding its size as it is quite big!!!
However, it is highly recommended without hesitation!!!
After about a year of use, I would say that I wouldn't buy it again! It has power, grills well, and has enough capacity, but the grill is fragile and breaks easily, the pan leaks from the holes of the prongs, from the slot for the handle of the grill that reaches very low, and from holes that opened in the pan due to material wear (unacceptable). Additionally, due to its size, cleaning is quite difficult. If someone chooses it, they should at least get the model with the stainless steel grill, even if it is a bit more expensive.
Okay, a decent electric grill.
I came here to write because I was also misled by the comments, that the taste is much closer to an oven than to a charcoal grill.
Basically, there is no way you can eat meat from this specific grill and say that it has been cooked on charcoal.
Other than that, everything is fine.
Expensive for what it offers. I was swayed by the good reviews, I have been using it for three months now and I am trying to discover the positives that are mentioned.
For example, it has nothing to do with the taste of charcoal, it's just healthier. Although the tray takes very little water, the meats still touch the water. The grill is to blame for being too shallow. The resistances are quite sparse and it doesn't cook evenly, resulting in either being overcooked and sticking or being normal and undercooked. It is a cheap product and its cost should not exceed €30 based on its build quality and the very short and uncomfortable cable
After 2 weeks of use, it's time for me to write my review.
For steaks, pork and chicken souvlaki, sausages, and burgers, it's unbeatable.
Yesterday I grilled a piece of beef t-bone and the result was shockingly good. You can't tell that you're grilling on an electric grill, it's just like charcoal, the only thing missing is the smoky flavor of the grill, but it's not a big difference.
Now, with chicken, there's an issue. At first, I cooked it whole, open, and it got dry on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The next time, I filleted it and still had the same problem, the breast dried out and the thigh-drumstick remained undercooked. Unless it's standardized open breast fillets, it does a better job there!
I haven't tried it with fish yet.
On the negative side, you should know that while it's easy to clean, it takes up a lot of space and it's difficult to wash it in the sink even if it's double.
I'm 90% satisfied and it saves me incredible time with the oven. Excellent results, I would recommend it to everyone!
By far the worst purchase of the last decade. It's better to put them in the oven on the grill with a tray of water underneath. Takes over 1 hour to cook, better in the toaster. When you open it, you need firefighter gloves because you get burned by the steam that comes out. Also, the top half may fall because it's not properly supported. It doesn't have an on/off switch, so you have to plug and unplug it. The grill is not properly made, resulting in the meats touching the water on one side.
The only positive thing is that it didn't have smoke and odors.
Guys, it's really good for its price. I'm a complete novice griller and I easily grilled three sea bass (it could fit a fourth) in about 20 minutes without sticking and they came out delicious. Cleaning is very easy, as you just pour about a glass of water in the removable bottom tray, maybe add a sheet of aluminum foil, and then rinse. Obviously, the quality of the metal is not super-duper, but what matters to me is that what I ate was very tasty. What I might change after about 6 months is the grill that comes as a gift with the grill. It might also need a cable extension. I will come back when I do more grilling. Edit: a trick that I think I'm the first to mention: by placing a sheet of aluminum foil or parchment paper on top of the closed lid, which is very hot, you can grill pies or whatever you think you can grill (rolls, etc.). Also, the watts are economical and ideal so as not to burn your house's cables, something that other grills do. I recommend it so far
Before this grill, I used some griddles because they were easy to clean, but the result of grilling was not comparable to charcoal. With this grill, if I put a plate of food from the electric grill next to a plate of food from charcoal, it would be difficult for someone to notice the difference.
This grill is easy to clean. The tray underneath the food that collects the fat can be removed and cleaned easily. I do not use aluminum foil or anything else. Additionally, I do not put water in it while grilling, as some others suggest, and yet all the grease comes off with dish soap, and there is no strong smoke during grilling. I would say that any odors are moderate to minimal.
This grill can cook a lot of food as it has a large surface area. The other day, I grilled 5 kebabs, two 20-centimeter skewers, a steak, and a chicken breast cut in half, and there was still some space left for additional items.
As for grilling, it is important to preheat it for five minutes before using it, as stated in the instructions. It is also important to get used to the cooking times, as the lid makes a big difference compared to other grills one may have used in the past. After that, you close the lid and simply turn the grill when the appropriate time has passed. Personally, if I have to grill the same type of meat, for example, only skewers or only pork belly, all I do is turn the grill halfway through the cooking time and nothing else. However, if I am grilling different types of meat, each with its own cooking time, I use the tactic of turning the grill every 4 to 5 minutes (these times depend on personal preference for how well-done one wants the meat) by opening and closing the lid.
I am truly satisfied!
Very powerful to the point where you risk getting burned if you open the lid without gloves. If you cook with water, so much steam comes out that you need to be very careful. It cooks evenly. You have to learn its secrets so that you don't constantly open it. I am completely satisfied.
As shown in the photo, I grilled burgers, sausages, and pork chops. Perfect and especially quick grilling. I lined the bottom with aluminum foil and poured a glass of water. I preheated for 5 minutes. I placed the meats on the grill, the burgers greased. Closed the lid for 15 minutes. Flipped the grill and grilled for another 15 minutes. So simple and effortless. As for cleaning, all the fats stayed in the water, I poured it out, threw away the aluminum foil, a typical cleaning of the base and the grill, and everything was ready. The next grilling will be fish.
Very useful, with a huge capacity, easy to clean. I lay down a piece of aluminum foil and a piece of adhesive if I don't want to use the grill. Otherwise, just aluminum foil. Afterwards, I gather it and it doesn't get dirty. It cleans with a simple soap wash. I use it on the balcony and it doesn't smell up the house - especially with fish! And most importantly, it is incredibly powerful and fast! Not to mention the cost savings, since you don't need to turn on the oven!
It grills properly (about 10 minutes per side), without drying out the food. After I leveled it, I poured a thin layer of water and plugged it in. It can fit 1.5 kilograms of burgers or sea bream. Because it has a lid, it doesn't hinder grilling even if it's windy. It is economical because with only 1600 watts of power, it grills much more than any other grill I had in the past (2000 watts and above), in the same amount of time. It is easy to clean (only the bottom part), I clean the top part with kitchen paper soaked in liquid detergent. I am completely satisfied.
I have had it for 5 years, I have cooked many times (probably 100+), even for a party of 12 people (ribs and sausages).
Certainly, it is not for a lot of people, as you will need to be on top of it for about 2 hours and cook (I have done it) for a family or a group of 4-6 people very comfortably.
For grilling 6 steaks with bones, it is the best in terms of capacity.
For fish, 4 thick sea breams or 4 sea basses.
I always put aluminum foil underneath, it helps with cleaning afterwards.
I don't add water, I had tried but didn't see any difference in anything (only trouble when emptying).
It doesn't leave them dry, only if you overcook them (because I read it in reviews).
It needs to be worked to get its "air".
Always preheat for 5 minutes.
From my own experience, I provide times:
Thick fish (sea bream) needs 10 minutes on each side, not a minute more.
Sea bass needs 7 minutes on each side.
Steaks, depending on thickness, and pork takes 15 minutes, beef much less and it's not easy to get them right because the intensity is strong and they can easily get overcooked if you forget.
CLEANING: after letting everything cool down, you collect the aluminum foil with the fats that have dried and throw them away. You take the bottom part, inside the kitchen sink, with the grill inside it, fill it with soap and boiling water, let it soak, use a wire brush (with gloves to avoid burning yourself), in 2-3 minutes you're done. IF you have dirtied the lid too much or after every 4-5 grilling sessions, you do the same, without wetting the cable too much, boiling water with soap, soak, etc.
So, you finish in 6 minutes. Yes, the lid will never shine from the inside, but OK, it's a grill and the lid has resistance on top.
AFTER cleaning, you light it up for 5 minutes to dry and that's it, storage bag (after it cools down)
I have it for a year, it's perfect. I bought another one 3 months ago, it's good, it bakes quickly, healthily, and economically. The new one I bought is better than the old one, heavier, bakes faster, and is of better quality. My father-in-law bought a Turkish one from the supermarket and in 4 months, the Turkish one broke down and didn't bake well. The Phoenix is the most perfect in the market and Greek.
Very good for its price. The cleaning of the lid is done with kitchen foam cleaner by spraying and letting it act, and we rinse with clean water using a sprayer like the one we have for our windows
Excellent grill!! Large cooking surface, beautiful and fast cooking on both sides, delicious food!! We got the 1600-watt giant with a detachable lid, a family of 4, and we are extremely satisfied! It easily fits a large amount of meat! I highly recommend it without hesitation!!
It heats up quickly, easily, evenly, and can fit a lot. Depending on the type, I have cooked more than 2kg of meat (chicken drumsticks). Its best performance is with sausages, fish, chicken, and pancetta. Steaks and lamb chops may need a little water to prevent them from drying out, as some people suggest.
The only issue is washing it, as it takes up the entire sink and there is not enough space, and storage is also a problem for the same reason. A longer cord would also be helpful!
The top lid of the grill must stay open with a latch because the heating element is too close to the grill and burns the food.
Pros: stainless steel - Greek construction - good value for money
I had bought it for my father. The lid on the top has turned black because it has the resistance and it is not easily cleaned. It does not have a good finish or a good design. However, it cooks very well and it is big. The box they gave us was very ugly.
Very good grill, it does not get dirty because it has a lid, you need to add a little water so that it does not release dry things on top, the only flaw it has is the resistance due to its very thin construction and I don't know how much it will withstand in general, it is a good product
Ideally, I would like the resistance to be stronger in order to reduce the cooking time! Otherwise, it is a simple device that does exactly what it is intended for...
It heats easily and quickly, its surface is as big as the kitchen tray. It needs to have a little water underneath so that it doesn't overcook them. The resistance is quite thin and I don't know how durable it is in the long run.
