I bought it yesterday 5/5/21 at the regular price of 469€ (-112.56 due to VAT exemption, not at that moment though (in the quarter), -93.80€ due to store offer card refund, so it actually cost 262.64€). I am explaining this because some of you might want to take advantage of it.

The device is very good for its price in terms of mid-range devices. The speaker/sound quality is very clear compared to other devices where you can't hear well. The screen is Amoled, so you understand the advantages. I would prefer it to be Super Amoled like the Mi9SE had.
What impressed me is how lightweight and thin it is compared to others in its category. The battery lasts for more than a day with regular use, but I will come back to this later. It runs on Android 11 and is preparing for 12 from what I read, which practically means it will bring more features related to 5G. I haven't tried 5G yet as I need to change my SIM card first and be near a antenna (my area has it). The camera is at a very good level in terms of photos and videos for the cost of the phone. The only thing that bothered me is that in order to take 64mp photos, you have to select that specific mode, meaning you can't immediately take photos at the highest resolution.
As a test, I opened over 60+ apps to test the RAM and processor. I played Subway Surfers and NBA games while having all these apps open, and I didn't experience any lag, just a slight increase in temperature at reasonable levels. What impressed me is how quickly the temperature dropped as soon as I cleared all the apps. The fast charging is also very good, it charges quickly. For its price, it is worth it, so 5 stars. Xiaomi has proven that it can provide quality with relatively low prices. Finally, I want to mention that I have tried/used several Xiaomi/OnePlus devices (my favorites), but OnePlus has gone too far with all this marketing. 1000 euros for a phone is too much (okay, it has perfect specs, but we won't feed China every now and then just because they release devices frequently). Currently, the best choice would be the Huawei P40 at this price, IF IT HAD Google services, it is an amazing phone with a great screen. But what can you do if you don't have Google services.. endless bugs!! That's it, I hope I helped once again. If not, shame on me :D I wasted so much time writing this? Good health to everyone!

Edit: 7/5/21
The battery is very good, I always have Wi-Fi/4G/Bluetooth on for wireless headphones, the screen is at 90hz with about 70% brightness. Two things that still impress me are that it has a very good Wi-Fi/Bluetooth network card, never disconnected, always full signal, and the headphones haven't disconnected once in all these days. The connection is really fast, about 1 second for both the headphones and the car (speakers). I am also uploading some screenshots that might help some people.

Edit: 10/5/21
Until today, with extensive use, I can say that I am fully satisfied and the device is value for money (at the price of 450€). I gave the SK to my son to play Subway Surfers and after a while, I played too :D (to show him who's in charge, of course). The device didn't heat up at all during the whole situation, even when I initially set up the phone with around 60 apps installing simultaneously.
I would also like to share another opinion about the side button that has a fingerprint sensor. Well, it's AMAZING and super convenient. I've seen some OnePlus, Samsung, and Huawei phones before that were very responsive, and then I had the fingerprint on the screen. I can say that it's so fast that you think it has unlocked the function before you even touch it. Awesome. Perfect for finance/banking apps!

Edit: 11/5/21
I'm glad that you found my review useful and that it has practically helped you. Something else I would like to share is that the size of the device in my pocket hasn't been very convenient for me. This is purely a matter of habit, taste, personal opinion, you know. It doesn't have anything to do with any negative aspect of the device, it's just my own issue. The previous phone I had was 6 inches and it was perfect for my hand. The current device is lighter, thinner, and bigger, so maybe it just takes some getting used to. It's flawless as a device, and one thing I like is that in most apps, I can get all the information at a glance without scrolling (the advantage of the size). However, I repeat (for the second time again :P), it's a bit too big for my hand, sometimes I feel like it's about to slip. For people with larger palms, it's probably perfect, just like a 6-inch phone is for me. My conclusion is that it needs a good case + tempered glass, otherwise, I'll keep it in my bag.

Edit 24/5/21
Personally, I noticed that when I take the device out of my pocket in 90% of cases (as if my finger does it on its own, my goodness), I hold it in such a way that my thumb immediately unlocks it. Solution: I hold it differently and in a different spot. €50.
One negative thing I noticed in this Android version (not necessarily a negative of the device) is that you can't see the duration of calls. You can see when you called someone in the call log, but not for how long. This is something very useful for me. I hope they change it with an update.

Edit 7/6/2021
After 1 month of using the device, I can say that I am very satisfied and nothing bothers me particularly. (By the way, the device says the same about me :P :P)
Fast charging, long battery life, no lagging (I noticed it once, but it was an issue with the app due to many pop-ups), a beautiful, elegant, and powerful device. It practically hasn't disappointed me in the past month (except for one time when it raised its voice :D), it meets my daily needs. If I had gone for Samsung, I would probably have all these features for at least double the price...
Advice: I recommend you to make the purchase, but always be careful about where you buy it from, as there are many refurbished phones circulating at low prices. In my opinion, go for a new device!

Edit 8/6/2021
The device has been upgraded to MIUI 12.5.1.0 Stable and several functions have been improved. The graphics on the welcome screen and the pop-up graphics with the volume buttons have also been changed.

Edit 27/7/2021
After almost 3 months of daily use as my main device, I have to say that it never let me down. The fast charging helps so much that you almost never run out of battery. I am very satisfied with the camera in normal lighting conditions. Also, for those who love selfies, I can confirm that I tried using a selfie stick with a 3.5mm mini jack to USB-C adapter and it worked perfectly. The fingerprint sensor always works smoothly, no lagging. Wifi/Bluetooth connections are seamless, NFC payments and synchronization work flawlessly on a daily basis without any issues.
I also want to mention that my phone has fallen twice from a height of about 1 meter with just a simple silicone case and I didn't have any unpleasant surprises, thankfully. It is definitely worth the money, especially now that the price has dropped. I am attaching a photo of a sunset that I took with manual settings. Lastly, I only managed to get a 5G signal in specific areas of Thessaloniki with a very small coverage radius, but the speed was impressive! I'm glad that my evaluation and comments helped almost 200 people in their decision to purchase this device (although it's not a car, let's be honest... the analysis I've done is as if someone is buying a house! :D However, I know, like most people, that money is hard-earned and we all want to make the most informed and wise decisions in our purchases.) If anyone has any questions, they can ask in the questions section and I will try to respond at some point.

Update 13/9/21
I continue to update the review as I see that many people have been helped, which makes me happy! There is more joy in giving than receiving :)
A few days ago, the phone flawlessly received the highly anticipated MIUI 12.5.5.0 Stable update, which fixed some system instabilities caused by certain apps (some users reported it, personally I didn't have any issues). Personally, I have noticed better battery management and even brighter screen in daily use and practice (??? strange, but that's the impression I have). You can find all the improvements of the update here for anyone who wants more information (scroll down to the MIUI 12.5 Changelog section):
https://en.gizchina.it/2021/09/miui-12-5-global-eea-stabile-xiaomi-redmi-download/

Edit 15/10/2021
Now it supports 5G in many parts of Thessaloniki. This particular phone has incredible interoperability and connectivity, as the mobile network card synchronizes instantly with the available 5G networks. The speeds in the area reach 0.5 Gbps (see image), and at this transmission rate, various smart services and applications such as FHD video calls that take advantage of the high bandwidth provide the maximum possible quality in terms of image and sound. And we haven't seen anything yet. Note that the phone didn't heat up at all with the use of 5G.

Edit 13/11/2021
I'm glad that 300 people who voted were helped in their purchase. Health to everyone!!

Verified purchase

It was purchased for 378 euros, shortly after its release in the Greek market.

I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S7 (4 years of use), which I gave to my mother, and from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T (1 year of use), which was extremely slow as the 3GB RAM was not enough for applications other than Gmail and Messenger, and I needed something more powerful for my daily life.

In the Mi 11 Lite (5G), after exactly 7 months of daily use, the home button/fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device stopped working. It now only opens/closes the screen 1 out of 5 times, and the fingerprint recognition has completely stopped working. I have a Spigen case for protection, which I bought on the first day for maximum protection, and a Spigen tempered glass for screen protection.

It's such a shame, considering that it is considered the flagship mini of Xiaomi at the moment I am writing this review... I did not expect this. I believe and want to believe that it is a defective sensor and I happened to have this case.

Unfortunately, the warranty is only 1 year, and that is why I am deducting a second star from my review. I expected 2 years, as is the case with all other manufacturers, for products sold within the EU.

I will take it to the store where I bought it for warranty and will provide a more detailed evaluation of the product at the first opportunity.

Edit 15/11/2021: I took it to an authorized service center of the store where I bought it (not the official Xiaomi service, InfoQuest) and I am waiting for updates.
(1 day without a phone)

Edit 18/11/2021: 4 days later, I contacted them and they confirmed that there was indeed an issue with the button. They are waiting for a replacement to arrive from abroad, and the replacement will be done next week.
(5 days without a phone)

Edit 24/11/2021: I was informed that they couldn't find a replacement part for the phone and that I will have to either receive a refund or a replacement.
(10 days without a phone)

Once I have the new device in my hands, I will continue with a more comprehensive evaluation that will also include its positive aspects, which are quite good.

Update 11/11/2022:
It didn't even last a year and it broke completely this time! When I plugged it in to charge (while turned off), it showed extremely slow charging rates and overheated. I left it to see how long it would take to reach 100%, but it never reached it and never turned on. At 73% battery, I tried to turn it on and it entered an endless boot loop (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z50EwDgG870&t=331s&ab_channel=TOPFONE4U). The screen would turn on with the Xiaomi logo, show that it was charging directly, and then start over from the beginning until it completely discharged. After a day of trying, the phone doesn't turn on at all, whether plugged in or not, completely non-responsive, and clinically dead (hopefully). This is the second device I have sent for warranty, and I hope no one else buys it and goes through the same experience as me... it's been a lot of trouble to be without a phone for so many days. I ordered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with borrowed money so that I don't stay without a phone for 10+ days again. I will provide further updates as I receive more information from the store and the service center that currently has my device.

In the end, I filed a complaint through the consumer advocate (https://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/el) as they were not refunding my money, and after 20 calendar days, they informed me to come and collect my money.

Final conclusion: As long as it lasted, it was good, but it's much better to get a lower-end Xiaomi like the Redmi Note 10/10 Pro or even a better (!) 11/11 Pro/11 Pro+ and have it last for four years instead of this disaster with an initial price of 400 euros...ridiculous. Personally, I filed a complaint (http://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/stk_links.html) with the consumer advocate because they wouldn't give me my money back, and a month later, I switched to the iPhone 13 5G and finally had peace of mind.

I have had the phone for 4 full years. Well, as others have said, its battery is ridiculous; you may need to charge it 3 or 4 times a day, but on the plus side, it charges in about 20 minutes. Another downside is that it sometimes overheats. One other issue, I don't know if it happens with other brands, but if you have it locked in your pocket, it starts making calls on its own or various apps get opened. For the money, it is a decent phone, and I have definitely gotten my money's worth. For now, I am not thinking of giving it up because nothing has impressed me yet.

The worst of the worst. Besides the fact that its battery died after 2 years, that it heats up as if you’re cooking it, it suddenly just shut down and won’t turn on at all, resulting in me not being able to retrieve even the files I have on its memory. Stay away from Xiaomi, really.

After 22 months of use, the on/off button broke and the signal on the mobile phone is weak. It's not worth the money. Disappointed with the amount I paid. It doesn't have signal, calls drop inside and outside the house.

After almost 2 years of use, I can say that the battery lasts with regular use (unlike other expensive devices I had that would shut down after 6 hours, 2 years later) and everything on it works. It has fallen several times without any issues. The only complaint is that it doesn't have the Apple logo on it :-) I bought it from a reputable chain.

Purchase through skroutz in September 2021. In August 2022, problems started arising; it stopped connecting to mobile networks with any SIM card and network. I sent it to infoquest, they returned it without repairing it. I sent it back through the store I bought it from, at my own expense, and they had to change the motherboard. Everything seemed fine, except for the battery, which was the worst part. It also didn't have always-on display and unnecessary features. In December 2022, the fingerprint sensor stopped working, which was very inconvenient for banking applications, etc., without it. The cameras are average, only good in daylight. The only positive thing is that it doesn't freeze no matter what I do. From now on, I will never choose Xiaomi again due to their poor communication and service in our country. Secondly, the quality of their devices seems to have declined significantly, despite the increasing prices.

At this price, the 780g processor is definitely one of the best. I have owned it for a year and it still works perfectly, even though I use my phone constantly. Obviously, there are temperature issues after a while, and I have noticed that when it reaches excessive temperature for no reason, it drains the battery quickly. The battery is not worth it for me, it might only last half a day with continuous use. I should also mention that energy saving is a must for this phone, otherwise you will need to have it plugged in every 3-4 hours (if you use it constantly). Considering the price, I would say YES, it is worth it because it offers much more than other phones in the same category. It could easily be classified as midrange - upper end, but be careful with the battery.

This review is about a variation of the product

    Summer 2021: purchase

Spring 2022: the fingerprint sensor stopped working (probably due to a software update from Xiaomi, but I can't be sure)

Summer to Autumn 2022: the on/off button is not responding correctly, it only works 2 out of 10 times

November 2022: repair (replacement of the on/off button), the fingerprint sensor still doesn't work but the button responds to pressing

December 2022: the on/off button is still unresponsive (same as before, nothing seems to have changed)

Now the only way to unlock it is by double tapping and locking it using the lock screen button in the control center

However, the battery seems to last for several hours of usage and it doesn't feel slow in operation. It comes with many unnecessary applications (bloatware) pre-installed (Google continues to download such applications without the user's knowledge even now), but they can be easily deleted using a program from the computer.

    I wouldn't buy a Xiaomi phone again.

This review is about a variation of the product

The main negative is that the battery doesn't last the whole day with simple use.
Battery saving is necessary if you need to take a trip and need to have both the speaker and GPS on.
Day and night compared to previous phones I had from the same company (Redmi 5, Redmi 7, Redmi 9).
After 4 months in my hands, I wish I had legs to run after every available outlet to charge it... It doesn't even last a trip from Piraeus to Paros.
I bought it for 330 and it's supposed to be better, but I'm giving it away tomorrow.
    It's already up for sale

It happened to me to have an issue with the calls because the keys are being pressed and many times it terminates the call. Be careful where you buy it from. The warranty of infoquest does not cover me because it doesn't have a European ROM (it was a global version), so I contacted the store where I bought it. I sent it twice at my own expense, but the issue was not resolved

The mobile, within 6 months of operation (with perfectly rational use, careful charging, and without forcing it in any way), started to overheat during use. Soon it started freezing on the initial screen. After contacting the store, I sent it for repair at Xiaomi's headquarters in Germany. It was returned to me after 3 months. Six months later, the mobile started showing the same problem again. It freezes on the initial screen and only opens again after its battery is drained. Very unreliable mobile, I would discourage anyone from buying it.

September '21 purchase. Until 1-2 months ago, the phone was working fine. Now, as time goes by, the freezes it experiences are getting worse. You can't even take videos because it freezes and literally throws you out from everywhere at any moment, while it overheats with minimal use. In general, you can't do your work. The phone is in excellent condition and not damaged. My mother has exactly the same model, almost the same time as mine, and she has also started experiencing minor freezes.
I conclude that it is a phone that will last you a year, not more!

    Verified purchase

Very good mobile phone. Value for money clearly. Especially if you find it on sale, it's worth it. I have had it for 3 months and I am very satisfied

After 3 months, I can say that for the money I paid, 299 is a decent phone. I will come back in a year to tell you if it has any issues.

This review is about a variation of the product

Good evening, I have had it in my possession since the first day it was released on the market, overall I am satisfied, although it has frozen two or three times, which has incredibly annoyed me. In terms of battery life, it is laughable, especially if it hasn't been properly adjusted, although it has the positive aspect of charging in 15-20 minutes. In terms of photos, I am very satisfied. Its headset and speaker are highly satisfactory.

It is fast, good photo and video resolution, what ruins it is the battery life

This review is about a variation of the product

After 5 months of use, I am not satisfied with the camera as it takes a long time to focus, and the battery drains very quickly with almost no usage. However, it is a very nice mobile phone and at a good price. I don't have anything very negative to say.

Beautiful, lightweight (really lightweight and convenient in hand)... Very fast with 8GB and a Snapdragon 780, you don't expect anything less... Cameras >> photos and videos are not WOW but they are very satisfactory... with more earthy and natural colors compared to the very intense and fake ones of other mobiles... (very beautiful video in 4K)... and 128GB of storage is enough... satisfying for most people...

The battery, with careful use for the basic needs of a normal user or a worker who is not on social media all day, can last 1.5-2 days... but for someone who constantly plays games, constantly surfs the internet, and stays up late on Facebook and TikTok... it will barely last a day...

In general, it is a very good purchase with specs that will not "age" or betray you for at least 2-3 years...!!!

Now that its price is around €300... I consider it a value for money product...

What can you do with a mobile phone if its screen is so narrow and you can't see properly? Everything is perfect on the phone, guys, but the screen is too narrow, it doesn't work for people who wear glasses for health reasons. The screen is amazing, the speed is super, the battery is decent (6.5-7 hours of full usage), it goes from 0 to 100 in 45 minutes of charging, photos/videos are flawless.... If you don't have any ophthalmological problem, take it with your eyes closed.

This review is about a variation of the product

The mobile is excellent. Fast, very good speaker, vibrant colors, nice photos (although not comparable to Sony's photo). I had concerns about the earpiece, as it is a small slot at the top, but it surprised me. Super lightweight and not bulky like some others. The downside, I would say, is that it lacks the LED notifications, but you can use the breathing notification if you search for it (although it's still not like the classic LED notifications).

Coming from Sony flagships, I ended up with this because I don't think it was worth spending a fortune on a mobile. Very honest for its price!!!
