Description

The B12 BC series is available in the standard ATX form factor and in power levels that are most common for a PC system. The Seasonic B12 BC achieves the 80 PLUS® Bronze standard by providing at least 82%, 85%, and 82% energy efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% operating loads, respectively. This efficiency, combined with active power factor correction, allows the B12 BC series power supplies to reduce energy waste, which translates into energy cost savings for their users. In addition to high efficiency, the B12 BC units use the LLC resonant converter design and the industry-leading Smart and Silent Fan Control (S2FC).

80 Plus Bronze Certification

The 80 PLUS Bronze certification indicates that a large percentage of electrical energy is converted into useful energy, resulting in less heat loss and more savings on the electricity bill. The 80 PLUS Bronze certification guarantees efficiency greater than 82%, 85%, and 82% at operating loads of 20%, 50%, and 100%, respectively. The Sea Sonic B12 BC series is an economical choice with high performance and great built-in value.

Silent Cooling

The intelligent thermal circuit is designed to find the optimal balance between the need to cool the components and the need to operate the power supply in the quietest possible manner.

    WARNING! I almost caught fire! The power supply refused to deliver power properly, the LEDs on the CPU cooler were flickering, indicating the presence of a catastrophic problem - and the second time I tried to open it, it started to emit smoke! All this after just 1 year of very light use! By far the worst power supply after 18 years of building computers for myself and friends! STAY AWAY!!!!

    Another user reports that it broke after 9 months... don't go by the brand just because it's Seasonic. These power supplies are unacceptable!

    It's a fairly good price quality ratio for such a power supply. At this price, I don't think you can find much better in Greece. However, unfortunately, mine failed and died after 9 month. I understand these things happen but I wouldn't call that reliable. Of course it was under warranty but here comes the catch. It takes absolutely ages to get replaced because availability of the product isn't there. Needless to say, if I had to buy a new one I would get something maybe less fancy but easily available. A month without a properly functioning PC isn't acceptable.

I live in an area with frequent power outages and have never encountered any issues. Its cables are all black, not tricolored like other options in this price range. 5/5
