Honestly, I rarely write negative reviews. This one has a very powerful lens and it served me well in that aspect. The solar charging is almost non-existent, but I didn't even rely on that. After a year and minimal use (about 10 times), the USB connection didn't make good contact - it needed a way to charge. Now, 2 years later, I see that it has cracked. I won't even bother with replacement due to safety concerns.

Now, the solar charging can be called a gimmick. It does what it says, but the surface of the solar panel is too small to be able to charge the power bank. (if you leave it in the sun all day, it may charge it halfway, but I'm not sure). If it is charged from the socket, it really charges other devices, even the most modern ones, giving 1% every 2 minutes of the hour. It is slightly smaller and slightly heavier than a smartphone, so you can take it with you everywhere. Now the solar panel, as I understand it, is more for maintaining energy when it is charged and takes a long time to be used, not for generating energy. I left it in the sun for a while, but it didn't collect any energy. Maybe it needed more hours, but don't expect miracles. The flashlight is really powerful and does a good job in the dark. As for the materials and construction, they are quite good.
