Description

Water softening filter that is installed in the main supply. It has a single 10" canister and a 1" pipe diameter. It also comes with a replacement filter Aqua Filter FCPRA, made of polyphosphate crystals.


Polyphosphate Crystal Filter

The polyphosphate crystal filter breaks down the salts in the water and makes it "softer" for use. The cartridge needs to be changed approximately every 10 to 12 months, depending on the quality and quantity of the water being treated.


Reducing Water Hardness

Crystal polyphosphate is ideal for installation in filters in the water supply of washing machines or dishwashers and generally wherever water hardness reduction is needed. 

Polyphosphate crystals dissolve in water and essentially coat elements such as iron, calcium, magnesium, etc., making it impossible for these elements to precipitate out of the water and create the known problems associated with hard water, such as salt formation in pumps and washing machine resistors.
