I ended up with this particular one after a lot of searching and I am very satisfied with the choice of the 12000btu. It is the next model after the DR1VI32. Truly beautiful for the living room. If you combine it with dark furniture or other stainless steel appliances, it blends very nicely. Incredibly quiet both indoors and outdoors. As for the warranty, it covers for 10 years by the company Inventor, provided that service and maintenance are done once a year after the first 2 years, and there is a record of receipts from a professional refrigeration technician of our choice. It does an amazing job in a room of about 35 square meters in a very short time. Don't make the mistake that many people make by setting the air conditioner to a very low temperature. When it's 40 degrees outside, the machine is ideal to be set at 26 to 28 degrees for better cooling and less consumption, as well as better maintenance of the machine. Finally, the WiFi, although at first I thought it was just an extra feature, it really comes in handy to see the temperature of your space while you're away from home and to open, close, and have full control of your device from wherever you are. In summary, I highly recommend this machine. I hope I helped future buyers as much as I could.

They encountered a problem with both the 12 and 9 Dark models. The official service replaced the circuit board, but since then it does not produce any warm air beyond one meter, even though it operates at the highest setting. Inventor does not recognize the problem as the service measurements show that everything is functioning as it should, and they attributed it to the technician not grounding it during installation. Be careful where you decide to invest your money.

Update 22/01/2022: On 19-1-22, I asked the same technician who installed it to check it. Inventor sent a new sensor. Today, on 22-1-22, the sensor was installed, but it still malfunctions in the HEAT (Heating) mode. Everything works perfectly in the cold.

Update 11/02/2022: Inventor sent a new circuit board and sensors to the store owner. Today, on 11/2/2022, the same technician who did the installation came again. We both noticed a slight improvement, but it still malfunctions.

Update 10-3-2022: Today I was informed that they will not repair or replace the two faulty air conditioners. Not even enough time had passed. A very wrong investment of money.

Final update 6-4-2022: I was looking for a new air conditioner and in my research, I learned that:
In other cases where customers have a new air conditioner and the issue was not resolved by replacing parts (e.g., installing a new circuit board), either the dealership or the store fully replaces the internal (or external) unit. In my case, neither the dealership nor the store took responsibility.

3/9/2022: I have been reading so many negative comments during this whole period, from others as well! Stay away!

When a product is defective without your own fault according to the law:

Is your product different from what was expected or did it break quickly? While you were using it normally? Then it is a "defective product" and you have a "legal warranty." The seller must provide you with a new product or repair it.

The seller does not solve the problem? Then sometimes you can terminate the purchase agreement. This is called "dissolution of the purchase agreement." Then you must return the product, and you will receive your money back.

Its strong points are performance, brand, which guarantees that you invest your money in something reliable, and the technologies it incorporates such as ionizer, wifi, etc. Now, from an aesthetic point of view, here I will probably make the difference... I'm not crazy about it... quite bulky (12kg), okay it's black... but it doesn't have the aesthetic of the LG mirror that it replaced. Simply put, in the 15 years of coexistence with LG, it presented some issues that may have been due to poor installation from the beginning. I think if the desired order is: Reliability, aesthetics, affordable price, and not the other way around, meaning affordable price... etc. then you will be satisfied with this choice.

  Installation of a 24,000 BTU air conditioner for a 48 sqm living room with a high ceiling at 2.9m, without insulation, with aluminum windows and an insulated terrace on top. The 18,000 BTU unit would have been borderline and would struggle (meaning it would consume more).
  Well, let's start with the appearance, it's a gem. Since the house is renovated in a minimal dark gray color, the choice was a one-way street. All the other dark air conditioners I saw were terrible. Of course, this is subjective.
  Let's talk about performance. It's powerful! It cools and heats quickly and maintains the temperature exactly as you have set it over time.
  It doesn't have a follow me feature, meaning it doesn't read the temperature from the remote control, and its thermostat is on the indoor unit. However, it has accurate measurement and that is more important in the long run (I have seen how cheap follow me functions work, and they are not good).
  -In hot weather/using it continuously for 24 hours without interruption, set at 29⁰-30⁰ when we are away, 25⁰-27⁰ when we come home, and in sleep mode at 28⁰ at night:
  Total daily consumption for 24 hours of operation is 11 kWh.
  -In cold weather/with an external temperature of 2⁰ at night and 4⁰ during the day, set at 17⁰-18⁰ throughout the day. The room did not drop below 19⁰, and when we come home in the afternoon, we increase it to 22-23⁰, where it holds up remarkably well!
  Total daily consumption for 24 hours of operation is 17 kWh. (Note: the apartment does not have any other form of heating).
  Regarding the noise, what noise? As the refrigeration technician with extensive experience told me, the Dark series is the quietest in Inventor. He is right! Both the indoor and outdoor units are silent. Many times I go out to the balcony to check if it's working!
  I recommend paying close attention to the installation part with an experienced refrigeration technician because some comments I read about noise or poor performance are a matter of proper installation!
  In short, it's a superb machine! From me, it gets a 5 out of 5! One of the best investments I have made in my house! Well done, Inventor!

  The DR2VI32-24WFI DARK air conditioner was purchased in August 2022 and was installed in a 37m2 living room with the intention of heating or cooling a 97m2 house. It serves as an auxiliary heating source since I also have natural gas. The installation is very important, so I chose the best certified technician to avoid any issues with noise or other problems that I read about in the comments. An installation by an inexperienced technician poses many risks to the performance and lifespan of the device. I downloaded the Inventor control app, which is easy to use and provides instructions on the company's website. I had to ask a question and contacted the Inventor call center, and I was pleasantly surprised by their politeness and the information they provided regarding app usage. It's worth noting that the device comes with a 10-year warranty, with the only condition being that I have the machine serviced by a certified technician after the second year. This seems logical and fair since it has filters that need to be cleaned every month or more frequently depending on usage. It has an impressive design that enhances any space. It has a 4-way air flow that helped prevent the air from blowing directly on me (I should mention that there is also the Inventor Legend, which does incredible things with its motion sensor, but I preferred the Dark version due to its design as it would be placed in the living room). I want to emphasize that it is A+++ in terms of heating, and during the 2-3 hours that I used it in winter at 20 degrees, my electricity bill did not exceed 70 euros per month. So, it is cost-effective. However, every house has its own parameters. I believe that for 8 hours a day, I would have spent around 100 to 130 euros on electricity for primary heating, but this is my own estimate and always depends on the location of my residence, the installation point, and the insulation of my house. It is advisable to conduct tests first to avoid surprises. To sum up, it is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it!

  I have purchased the 24000 btu. Very beautiful, quiet, and performs well in the heat that I have tested it in. The app is very convenient with many options. I never use the remote control. I mainly chose it for the heat. It is in a 50sqm living room kitchen. As a 24-hour unit, in a large temperature difference, I would say it consumes a good amount of electricity, but it is at reasonable levels like all units. I was not used to it. However, its performance is perfect. I was torn between this and a Midea with a+++ for both heat and cold, but I ended up here mainly because of the color and availability. I highly recommend it. The purchase was made in early January 2023.

  First of all, I would like to mention that this is a review of the 24000 BTU air conditioner. I have been the owner of the Inventor Dark air conditioner for 3 months. It is installed in a 70 sqm house in Thessaly. The air conditioner was purchased with the recycle-change program. I was in the 50% discount category and it was bought from a well-known chain of stores (possibly the most famous chain) at a price of 699.50 euros, originally priced at 1399 euros (with free installation). We are talking about the 24000 BTU model, always a good value for money. Let's start with my "misfortune".

  I ordered 2 air conditioners, the Inventor Dark 24000 BTU and another one from a different brand. The model I chose was the Drvi32/24wf (the one I bought), which replaced an older model from the same company. The older model had a thicker font on the mirror, the word "Dark" in the bottom right corner, and a bright blue LED indicator (it also had a ventilation grille, as far as I saw). The new air conditioners (the one I chose) have a much more beautiful font on the mirror (much more sophisticated) and white LED digits that, in my personal opinion, are much more impressive and brighter, and they also have 2 ventilation grilles. The air conditioner is a gem. The technician came for installation and from the same evening, the problems started. The outdoor unit started making noise to the point where it was bothering me in the room. I should mention that the house has the best insulation, aluminum windows with double glazing, aluminum doors, thermal insulation, etc. In short, it is a modern 70 sqm house. One of my criteria for choosing this specific brand was the silent operation both indoors and outdoors, as well as the 10-year warranty. The air conditioner that was given for recycling was 20 years old and had an incredible noise from the outdoor unit. The indoor unit's fan was also very loud. In terms of performance, it had minimal cooling efficiency during the heat, and it worked all day to reach a relatively good temperature. Now let's move on to the good things. I contacted the technician the same evening and he said he would come to see it. He came the next day, saw it, and told me to go straight to the store. I have experienced hundreds of similar situations and this is not something you hear often. I went to the store where I bought the air conditioner and they told me to contact the customer service department of Inventor to send us an email for replacement. I called Inventor and here is where the good things started: I explained what had happened and received politeness, kindness, and genuine interest towards the customer (I was wondering if I was really in Greece or if I was dreaming). They told me that there was no problem, that they would arrange for a replacement and send an email to the store for me to pick up the new unit (the whole set). The only thing the company asked for was a short video that I had to send to their email and 2 photos with the serial numbers of the indoor and outdoor units. Flawless service and professionalism. 10 out of 10 for the company. I will become their living advertisement, honestly. Indeed, within 3 days, I received the new set of air conditioners and the technician came to install them with a team of 3 people, whereas the first time it was only him and an assistant who installed it for me. Everything was perfect, and when I say everything, I mean everything was perfect.
  *Internal Unit Silent (0 Noise. In the first moments of operation, there were creaking sounds in the blinds when opening or closing. It was immediately fixed by lubricating the "gears" (I don't know if I'm saying it correctly, they are white plastic parts on the blinds) with waterproof silicone spray. It is important for it to be waterproof, as the technician told me. Some comments I saw about using Vaseline or silicone pastes or WD40 did not permanently solve the creaking. So, waterproof silicone spray is the solution. In my case, the pipes were installed for 4 meters and "covered-protected" inside a decorative channel for pipes. Apart from the aesthetic aspect, they are protected from weather conditions, especially from the sun.
  *External Unit (0 Noise. I was amazed, I didn't expect it to be completely silent. You can't even tell if it's working, especially if it's on the low fan speed setting in the internal unit.
  Now let's move on to the tips for new installations, which a highly trained technician shared with me after attending several seminars at the installations.
  First Tip: The most important thing when installing new air conditioners is the vacuum pump on the pipes, at least 15 minutes of timed vacuum to remove atmospheric air from the pipes. In my case, after I kindly asked and treated them to coffee, the whole team performed a 30-minute vacuum pump because they didn't have any other installation afterwards. The installation took place in the afternoon at 19:00 at the beginning of August. They had obviously finished their work, maybe that's why three people came. Most refrigeration technicians told me they do a vacuum pump for 3-5 minutes, and that's it. Because at the end of the day, they save 10-15 minutes for each installation, which adds up to 3 to 4 hours in total for a whole day, which translates to 5 to 6 more installations. 6 more installations equals 6x70=420 euros.
  If the vacuum pump is not done correctly, it is possible that you will have problems with the air conditioner, as they say in their language.
  Second Tip: The installation of the external unit is done specifically for large air conditioners from 18000 Btu and above, due to the weight of the unit. It is placed on the floor on a base or on a balcony or in a space that allows for the dimensions. Again, I emphasize that it should be placed on a base with rubber feet and with anti-vibration rubber between the feet of the air conditioning unit and the base. These items are included in the packaging. Also, because they may be affected by the sun (cold, heat, rain, etc.), they were coated with Vaseline. The technician told me to reapply it every 3 months to keep them "moisturized" and prevent them from deteriorating (cracking, splitting, etc.). They play an important role as they absorb any noise.
  Third Tip: The pipes in all air conditioners, regardless of brand, should be at least 3 meters long to ensure proper performance of the unit. If they exceed 8 to 9 meters, refrigerant liquid may need to be added according to the amount specified in the manual for each air conditioner. This particular one uses R32, an environmentally friendly refrigerant with much better performance. (Most new air conditioners use R32 refrigerant.)
  Also, keep in mind that the electrical connection is made to the external unit with a separate cable that comes from the panel with a cable (3x2.5 and at least a 16 A fuse). I have it with a 20 A fuse because large air conditioners draw a load, especially in heating mode, so be careful. Up to 12,000 Btu, you can connect it to a household socket. From 12,000 Btu and above, you will need a separate cable, as I mentioned.
  Well, let's talk about the performance: it cools down in 30 minutes, and I have to turn it off. The fridge in my 70 sqm house cools down in 1 hour with the thermostat set at 24, while outside it's 38-40°C.
  Heating: with an external temperature of 12 and 14 degrees, it reached 24 degrees in 45 minutes, giving a strong sense of warmth in the house.
  Extra observations: The WiFi function saved me time. I turn it on 20 minutes before I go home (I turn it on from work) and I find the desired temperature. During the first WiFi connection, it connected in 20 seconds.
  Also, the ionizer function and the 4D blinds distribute the air evenly and give a fresh feeling inside the house. It has an ionizer and the air smells nice. Those who have this machine will understand what I mean.
  Since the price difference between the 18,000 and 24,000 BTU in this specific machine was 100 euros (I actually paid 50 due to the subsidy), I chose the 24,000 BTU.
  Important tip: Pay attention to proper grounding during electrical connection.
  If you see the specifications of this machine, you will be amazed. It has a gold coating for anti-corrosion protection on the elements and the unit (although the company's website does not mention it). It also works in heating mode with an external temperature of up to -15 degrees. Additionally, preheating in heating mode does not release cold air during the start-up of the air conditioner, which is very important. This model, as well as the Comfort model, is produced by the Haier company, and they may be made in China (P.R.C), but in a Haier factory in China.
  Basic advice: Clean the filters of the indoor unit every 7 days with water and let them dry properly. Be very careful when cleaning the mirror, use a Swiffer or a slightly damp microfiber cloth without applying pressure.
  The temperature we select on the remote control is the one we desire. The one displayed on the mirror is the room temperature because we are interested in knowing the temperature in our space.
  The machine has Eurovent certification, which means that as an independent body, it verifies all air conditioners that have certification to ensure that they actually have the stated performance. This specific machine has much more than what is stated (see the label on the outdoor unit).
  The remote control is backlit and the buttons glow in the dark.
  To have the 10-year warranty, you must register electronically on the Inventor website and, as a prerequisite, perform maintenance and cleaning every year by a certified refrigeration technician, keeping a record of payment receipts and the signed maintenance certificate.
  Friendly advice regarding installation: Do not fall for the "Free Installation" bait, as if the installer is lazy or unprofessional, it will be as if the installation was not done correctly. It is better to pay 70 euros and choose your own refrigeration technician (after conducting market research to find someone who is detailed, cooperative, and not lazy, etc.). I was lucky in this aspect, as the technician was very professional. He was cooperative up to a certain point. To conclude, I want to emphasize that Inventor has changed its customer service policy, with the primary goal of satisfying the customer rather than dealing with complaints about any defective products or problems that may occur. I regret choosing the second air conditioner (from a top brand) as it was not as good as the Inventor. I also attach photos of the old model of the company, the new model, and my installed unit (indoor and outdoor unit).

  3 air conditioning units. 2 of 9,000 BTU and 1 of 12,000 BTU.
  The 9,000 BTU indoor units produce strange noises at random times, which can even wake you up at night.

  I contacted Inventor, who came and checked the air conditioners and found them to be perfectly fine. Because I insisted, they applied something like Vaseline to the plastic of the indoor units... The exact same night, the noises were still there (there are videos). I sent them the videos via email and they called me, saying that the noises are caused by expansion/contraction, but they will do me the favor of contacting the store from which I purchased them, so that if they want, they can replace them with air conditioners of a different brand because even if they bring me the same ones, they will still make the same noise. Also, if I wanted the same ones, I would have to bear the price difference because you see, I bought them in 07/2021 with a discount at €550 per unit.

  They never answered my question about why the 12,000 BTU unit (which is more recent) doesn't make these noises.

  Wasted money constantly making noise in the plastic parts, a similar 12000 btu TESLA doesn't even flinch with half the price from the service and they never call to repair it. 1/5 for the air conditioner, 0/5 for the nonexistent service.
  Update: Replacement was made by the company with another one that doesn't have any cracks. So, it's now 3/5 instead of 1/5.

  Beautiful and good in performance but its external unit (24,000 btu) makes a lot of noise, much more than the 18,000 Samsung it replaced, while their noise levels are the same according to specifications. Inventor came and examined the unit, tightened the insulation on the motor, improved it somewhat but the external unit remains quite noisy.

  Since yesterday that I installed it, I wonder why you call it silent??? Both the indoor and especially the outdoor unit make a tremendous noise. Also, the mirror is so sensitive that it scratched when I tried to clean it with a soft cloth...so far it only works in warm mode, okay normal...it's not something wow...also, I couldn't connect it to Wi-Fi right away. I will see during the duration.

  PS. Finally, it connected, everything is fine, the only thing that bothers me is the noise it makes...I don't know...maybe all the 24-hour ones work this way????

  Another observation, unfortunately negative...no matter what temperature I set through the application, when it reaches the desired level, the application automatically sets it to 25 degrees and low speed. And in order to set it where you want it, you have to enter your own values again...So, you have to deal with the application from time to time if you want to keep the air conditioner at the desired levels. For the money we pay for Inventor machines, they could have adjusted the application more appropriately.

  It was purchased in early October, so the review is only for heating and only for a few days in 2021 with temperatures not lower than 7-8°C (Thessaloniki).

  Apart from the impressive aesthetic with the gray color (mirror), it is a very good machine. It raises the temperature of the interior ground floor, a unified space of 35 sq.m., from 18°C to 25°C in 30 minutes. The inverter function ensures that it always operates at the level required by the conditions, while the wifi connection allows you to remotely adjust the device (the app works perfectly and has many automation features).

  Certainly, you can find cheaper options with 12,000 BTU, but both the reliability of the company with the long warranty and the energy class that ensures savings, combined with the very beautiful design, justify the price.

  I still need to test it in more challenging conditions, both in cold and heat, to provide a more detailed assessment. So far, everything is perfect!
