This phone was purchased a year and a half ago as a gift for an elderly person. It is perfect for the intended use. Very good and durable. I noticed that it has a strong flashlight that is activated by the 0 (zero) button. The radio does not require headphones and its speaker is loud with clear sound. The contacts are stored on the SIM card and I have inserted a small SD card for photos and some favorite songs. The battery lasts quite a long time, about 15 days from what I have seen, without turning off at night and with active alarms. The charging port cover requires a little attention on how to open and close it, as it is not waterproof if left open. The phone has been dropped on tables, taken many tumbles, and it still works. The only negative aspect, not of the device but of the way it is used by the elderly person, is the keypad unlock that they cannot manage. I tried removing the keypad lock, but the buttons are constantly pressed even when it is hanging around their neck, resulting in them leaving it at home and not carrying it with them. For its price at 55 euros, it is very good and worth the money, but I do not know if it is suitable for people aged 75+

I made the mistake of wrapping the phone with its own cord, which is used to hang it during transportation, and putting it in the back pocket of my pants. However, the plastic that is shown in the photo and is part of the cord broke the screen protector. I want to point out that I did not sit with the phone in my pocket, I was just walking because I didn't want to have the phone hanging from my neck at that particular moment. Obviously, at some point during the walk, the plastic of the cord pressed against the screen and caused the damage.
Regardless, for a phone that is advertised as "durable," something like this is simply UNACCEPTABLE.
Otherwise, it had served me incredibly well. It had a huge battery life, a speaker that worked perfectly even in noisy environments, a microphone that picked up sound normally (not like the unacceptable microphone of the Caterpillar B25 that I had before), and a radio that worked without needing headphones or hands-free. I should note that it also had a huge convenience, which I had only encountered in the Samsung B2100 and old Nokia phones, where typing the first digits of a number would display the contact if the number was saved. This was a very useful function when receiving an SMS for several missed calls, where only the numbers that called you are displayed. Additionally, I have no issue with Greek characters as some people mention in their reviews. I use the phone with an English menu (by choice), but I can see and write SMS or save contacts with Greek characters when needed.
It's a shame because I had it for about a year and it had served me incredibly well. Now I have to deal with service, replacing the broken screen protector, etc. If it had been damaged, for example, because it fell from the balcony or was run over by a car, I would honestly buy the same one again. Now, it will probably be scrapped and I will look for another solution.

The positives are loud sound, clear calls, strong radio without hands-free connection, seems durable and has a clear screen. The negatives: It is very large in size (almost like a smartphone), the battery cover closes with screws so it is not suitable for frequent sim changes, a memory card is necessary to add even one additional sound, the charging and hands-free input is difficult to open, the menu is tragically simple with practical shortcomings. You cannot add contacts with long names, you cannot see the contacts of either the sim or the phone, you have to delete one category to not see them twice. Sim contacts have even fewer letters, you cannot write with Latin characters if you have a Greek menu, generally many such small shortcomings that ultimately tire. If someone has few contacts and wants a phone for emergencies and radio, I suppose it will do. I do not recommend it, there are better options for simple use at this price. I repeat, the mobile is huge in size, almost like a cordless landline.

Please note that when it says "English Menu," it means that the phone not only DOES NOT HAVE an alternative Greek Menu (it has Swedish for those interested), but it also does not accept Greek for recording new Contacts or write SMS in Greek. Honestly, I can't understand which Greek person would be interested in this phone (without Greek).
Since 1997, I have had various phones, and I have never come across a phone (in Greece) that does not have Greek as a supported language. Make sure to explicitly state in the advertisement (I hope this is true) that it supports Greek before purchasing it. Unless it is not your native language and you are not interested.
In my case, the e-shop accepted the return of the device, I don't know if you will be as lucky if you encounter the same problem.
Otherwise, I have hardly used this particular device.

Did you find this review helpful?I wanted a simple CAT-type mobile phone for use as a phone and not for all the other features that most mobile phones have. After reading reviews, I chose it and I did not regret it. It has the basics as a phone and it performs well. Let me start with the negatives:
- In the SIM, contacts can only fit 9 letters, i.e. not even a full last name many times. If you save them in the phone itself, the characters are 20, which is satisfactory, but if it breaks, the contacts are lost with it.
- Only one number can be entered for each contact, you cannot have 3-4 phones in the same contact, e.g. mobile, home, office, etc. you have to create a new contact.
- Photos and videos are of ancient quality, but whoever buys it, doesn't get it for those.
- The menu display is outdated.
- Very limited sound options and they are terrible, but you can add your own sounds, maybe through an SD card (?)
- Average radio reception.Now for the positives, which are the reasons someone would buy it:
- I got the phone with Greek menus. The phone also HAS ENGLISH in the language selection menus along with about 10 others.
- The screen is very bright so you can comfortably read in daylight. It's not a smartphone screen, but it's readable outside.
- It has slots for 2 SIM cards.
- It has a microSD slot up to 32GB.
- Powerful speaker in terms of volume and quality. The ringtone can be heard everywhere if you leave it on the factory setting. It also has vibration.
- The radio plays loud and with good quality, both with and without headphones, through the 3.5mm jack.
- mp3 player (I haven't tested its capabilities and quality yet).
- Large, easy-to-use, and backlit buttons.
- SOS button that can store 5 numbers and also receive SMS.
- Very good alarm clock!
- Strong flashlight that can either stay on continuously or flash intermittently, and can be activated either through the menu or by holding down the 0 button.
- Large 2100mAh battery that provides great autonomy.
- Sturdy construction yet lightweight. It claims to be IP68, so it's also waterproof. It probably won't break or malfunction. It also has a hook if you need it, so you can hang it on yourself and show off.
- And most importantly: It is a ROCKET (fast) in terms of outgoing and incoming calls. As soon as the conversation ends, it hangs up immediately, and you can hear clearly and loudly. Also, in terms of reception with my COSMOTE signal, it's excellent everywhere.
- Oh, and it also has a low price for all of the above (and it's beautiful in my opinion).I highly recommend it to those who don't want a smartphone with frills and fancy features, which can easily fall and break the screen, but want a good, durable, affordable, and reliable phone with its few drawbacks, of course. But as I said, if you know what you want and what requirements you have beforehand.
EDIT:
After about a year of use, I would like to add that everything I wrote in the review still holds true except for the mp3 player, which is of poor quality. As soon as I connect headphones, depending on the 3.5mm jack, it either makes a continuous annoying beeping noise that gets louder as I increase the volume, or it has poor song playback through the headphones. Furthermore, when I connect headphones, both the headphones and the phone's speaker play simultaneously, so when I increase the volume in the headphones, the speaker's volume also increases and cannot be isolated. So, I do not recommend it for the mp3 player it has.
