HERBAL ACTIVES HAWTHORNE contains 300mg of Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata). The supplement is standardized and the active ingredients are derived from the fruit of the plant. Hawthorn relaxes and dilates the coronary and peripheral vessels, reducing pressure and facilitating blood flow as well as oxygenation of the heart and tissues.

It contains strong antioxidant properties and protects against cholesterol oxidation and arterial hardening. The procyanidins contained in the leaves of Hawthorn slow down the heart rate. It also contains at least 3.2% (4.8 mg) vitexin.
