    We bought it for our first fish, a betta. The aquarium is beautiful. As soon as I opened it, the heater button broke and I couldn't adjust the temperature. So I put it to work the first night, without the fish inside, so that in the morning I could see the water temperature. In the morning, the water was very hot and the thermometer did not show the actual temperature, it showed below 20 degrees while the water had a temperature above 35. If I had put the fish inside, it would definitely have died. The thermometer does not show the actual water temperature. The result is that I have to buy a new heater and an electronic thermometer.

    Overall, it is a very nice aquarium. Unfortunately, the labeling of 30L represents the volume of the aquarium and not the volume of water it can hold, which is about 21L. The lighting is sufficient and looks beautiful. The heater works fine for its size. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for the goldfish we have; we will go for something much larger, maybe it is suitable for a betta fish.

    The filter is also fine for its size, but after a few days of operation, it started making a strange noise. Eventually, it turned out to be due to the activated carbon sponge... once I cleaned it, the sound went away... Overall, the pump of the filter is not powerful enough, so with the first dirt on the carbon sponge, the noise starts again. This is an issue.

    Another negative point is that it requires three power outlets, but I think it is something that probably all aquariums will have.
