It stopped working after 3 months of only using it 1-2 times a week for 1-2 hours each time.

Unacceptable from HP, but maybe it's due to its cheap construction.

Not as powerful as I would expect, of course they draw power from USB - so it's reasonable. If you don't have any speakers at all or use the monitor's speakers and don't want to spend a lot of money, then yes, it's worth it.

Do not expect much.
I bought it to give a little boost to my child's laptop sound.... and I achieved that.
If you are looking for serious sound for movies or gaming, it is not suitable

Very good if you want something simple and low profile. Obviously, it doesn't have the perfect sound quality, but that's to be expected.

Very good build quality and decent sound for the given price, a very good economical solution for music and movies with the guarantee of HP.

My girlfriend gave it to me as a gift for my birthday because I was saying that I would buy it myself. It's great and I don't think you can ask for anything more for the money you're giving

Very good build quality and decent sound for the given price. I would like the LED lighting to be able to freeze in one color, but there is a touch button that serves as an on/off for the LED.

1) The sound is not very loud at maximum volume (6w power).
2) The bass is obviously non-existent.
3) You cannot control the color from the RGB.
However, it is quite reliable with good quality/price. The sound is clear and supports surround (right-left speaker). The colors from the RGB cannot be changed and they run in a random flow of changes and combinations. It has connections for both USB and 3.5mm jack. It does its job and has not caused me any problems, but I would not recommend it as a first choice, nor would I buy it again.
