    The product in question is not of the same quality as its original first placement with the purchase of the baton.
    I have sent an email message to the company regarding the quality, from which I have never received a response.
    This particular product is not intended for advanced hikers/mountaineers, as it poses risks in its use, which relate to safety issues.
    Specifically,
    1. It does not have good grip at all, it slips dangerously on almost all terrains.
    2. During the use of the baton, it easily comes off, resulting in the baton being left bare.
    The original one was excellent.
    If you can buy another one, please do so.
