The support base of the knife suddenly broke inside the container. I bought two together, one of them is currently working well, but this particular one had a noisier operation from the beginning with noticeable shaking. Their use is not everyday (that's why I didn't buy something more expensive), just to be in the country house. The breakage occurred during the cutting of an onion, which was already cut into quarters.
Human HU1005 Multi Chopper 500W with 500ml Vintage Container
Purchased in September 2022 and used occasionally. Last used a few days ago for chopping onions. I noticed that the "fake" attachment of the axis, where the cutting blades rotate, broke at the base of the container. It's unbelievable considering that its features claim it can chop and crush ice. I contacted the importing company, and they told me that it is not covered by warranty, and that the powerful motor caused it to break when lifted before it stopped. There is no connection between the motor power and the movement of the blades with the axis at the base of the container. Moreover, the role of the axis is to keep the mechanism with the blades centered. I was troubled by their response. I observed the axis and saw that the top part resembles a screwdriver, and the point where it enters the blades is in the shape of a cross. At this point, the blades brake and do not rotate freely as they should, resulting in any slight rotational pressure breaking the support base of the axis. If this doesn't show a MANUFACTURING ERROR, then what does? The multi was purchased for 17 euros. The cost of replacing the container is about 10 euros (60% of the total value). Of course, I will not proceed with a replacement; I don't want to use the multi as fragile porcelain, fearing that the motor will lift it by 1 cm. I am sharing my experience to help those who have bought it or are planning to buy it (!!!), to handle it with special care
