In conclusion, stop at 4GB and barely buy with 6GB to avoid any issues. Beyond that, battery and other matters are a matter of usage or abuse, if you want. I have had the mobile for 2 years, I have it loaded with several applications, most of them in everyday use, while it has a capacity of 128gb, I have covered 75-80gb and it freezes badly, it is slow in everything, slow to enter messages, slow to enter photos, slow in search, etc. Generally, I take care of it as much as I can, I have only troubled it in terms of capacity that I have loaded, it may also play a role, but that's why I bought it 128gb, believing that it will be worthy despite not being a flagship. And the other problem is the battery, about 2 months ago it didn't easily charge for a week, it updated at some point and suddenly it charged normally but drained in 4-6 hours depending on when it needed constant charging. Now after 2 months it completely shut down, it doesn't charge, I took it to a technician twice, for the charging board and for battery replacement and still, when I plug it in for charging, the indicator appears but it does nothing!!! I am left with my old mobile that is outdated, the Huawei Y7 2019!

Good evening. After a year and something that I have in my possession the mobile, I would like to share my overall experience as succinctly as possible (relatively to the competition from other companies but also with mobiles of the same company. Bought at 175.
The pros of the mobile after a year still remain the overall performance of the processor for simple use such as social videos and music. Another advantage compared to this year's mobiles is the lenses used, which for the money purchased, especially during the day, remain very decent and will not disappoint an average user.
Finally, the screen is quite bright and although it is not really always on display, it remains very good for the mentioned use above.
The cons so far are definitely the battery performance, which during daily use dramatically decreases to below 20% in less than 24 hours. I would like to emphasize here that it lags a bit in calls or with the use of Bluetooth, and sometimes the screen freezes and is unresponsive to a degree that annoys you, but with a restart, the mobile returns to normal.
So overall, even today, I would recommend this mobile for an average user, but if they want something from the same company with slightly better specs, I would suggest going for the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which in some aspects may be slightly better. Purchase from September (at 155€). Until today, it is decent in all aspects, except for games since we do not use it, especially for big games.
It has almost never frozen. The battery life is very good and it does a good job with saving power.

(I suppose that the cost increases significantly in a screen replacement, obviously) To keep it short, I will only mention what comes to mind at the moment. Starting with the only negative: It does not have a signal in many cases. I am from the countryside and there have been several occasions where I did not have a signal in uninhabited areas. Okay, in this case, I am not so strict, but it is ridiculous to be at school and not have a signal inside the facilities (while older phones from other companies have better signal). Now let's move on to the positives: I mean the screen, as I mentioned, its charger which is very fast when the phone is either turned off or in ultra battery saver mode, its camera which is very good when there is enough lighting and satisfactory in night shots (I use gcam), and its speaker or rather its speakers which sound much better quality. I do not have demanding usage, so I cannot cover the hardware aspect. For the 160 euros that I bought it, I believe it is impeccable, but for the 260 euros that I see it now, I do not think it is worth it.

The negatives: while initially it would last 2 days on a single charge, now it needs to be charged every day. I should note that I use it for about an hour on Instagram, Messenger, and Google... I'm telling you, the S7 Edge is much better than the S8 Plus, I regret not buying the same. Anyway, here we are evaluating the Redmi Note 10, which I acquired through connections. Its processor is better than the S8 Plus, but its graphics card is not. However, the advantage always lies in the price, Redmi is a thousand times better because you pay for the phone and not the brand, I'm seriously speaking, it has better multitasking than a 400€ phone, but let's be honest, they have a 4-year difference. The only unacceptable thing I find is that it doesn't have NFC, why? It's 2021 and a 200€ phone doesn't have NFC, even the Vodafone Smart 4G that I had in 2012-13 had it. You can't make contactless payments, it's a shame for such a beautiful phone

Excellent screen in terms of color, with brightness exceeding 750 nits, perfectly readable under the Greek sun. Perhaps the brightest screen I have seen (although at maximum intensity, whites tend to shift towards magenta). The cameras have very good dynamic range and detail, while the official app also supports raw-dng for all sensors. The processor speed is more than sufficient, without any lag, unless someone intends to use it for heavy gaming.
The point that requires attention is battery management. I believe that for a 5000mAh battery, one hour of charging is extremely short and will definitely affect its lifespan. Personally, I charge it with a 2-amp charger, which takes almost 2.5 hours, and only in case of emergency do I use its own charger, which takes one hour and five minutes.
One point that I don't like (although this applies generally to all Xiaomi devices and is a software issue) is that it does not allow for large zoom in letters and graphics, resulting in the information bar at the top being extremely small for those with poor eyesight.
Also, something that applies to Android 11 in general, is that with different launchers, apart from its own, it does not support full screen gestures.

As a Xiaomi user for the past 6 years, it is one of the worst models I have tried. The battery is average, fast charging reduced the battery life to 80% within a month, resulting in me using a charger from my previous phone. I bought the mobile phone on June 9, 2021 and it started having charging issues around August 16-18. One time it charged normally, but the other time it didn't even recognize the charger (tried with 3 different bricks and 2 cables). It seems like many people are experiencing this issue based on what I see on forums. I called the store where I bought it and informed them about a 1cm crack (not even a break) on the back glass, and immediately they took advantage of the loophole in the law that says the charging problem is my own negligence. I got the device with a subsidy, coming from the note 8 pro, a truly exceptional device.
I agree with a previous reviewer who mentions that they find the phone "unfinished". It is an extremely accurate description. With the 12.0.4 software, you feel like you have a phone with decent specs, which is undermined by its software. Bugs everywhere, poor integration of apps that you consider obvious in other phones (see messenger bubbles, dark mode with apps mixing black and white), freezes (it's unbelievable to have a 10-second lag from always on until it shows you the lockscreen).
On the positive side, when it wants to, it is quite fast. I haven't noticed any noticeable delay in multitasking. Good camera for the category, good speaker, battery that easily lasts a full day of use, despite the terrible UI.
The biggest negative by far is the software. While Xiaomi managed to have a fairly clean UI with MIUI 11.xx, it disappoints with MIUI 12, at least for now. I will wait for 12.5 (which strangely has already been released on the redmi note 8 pro, but we are still waiting for it on a phone 2 years "newer") to see if the UI has improved as I read from many.
Finally, for enthusiasts: I tried to unlock the bootloader to install pixel experience+, and Xiaomi has a 7-day waiting period to unlock it. Honestly, I have never encountered this anywhere.
UPDATE: The device was returned and replaced with Redmi note 10 pro 6/128. A completely different class of device. If you can cover the difference, go for the pro without hesitation.
