  I returned. 1 year later. The midrange and the fantastic tweeter, the woofer is not that remarkable, the spider detaches from the cone and it has a bad sound. Representative Nakass Stay away, they brought me elsewhere. New speaker. It's good, but not the watts they claim, up to 100w rms 4ohm, be careful! I felt the joy of a small child. Coming from the VR 300 Warfdale. What can you compare? The Evo is heavy, solid construction for €700 speakers. Sound quality without high-frequency peaks, everything is flat; it is a speaker that needs a good amplifier because it has just sensitivity, it needs a good final amplifier with good connections. Worth every euro, they need 30 hours of break-in. At low volumes. Very good clarity. It is for quality music; I play them actively and passively. With two final amplifiers and cutoff via a sound processor. Through a workbench 2.1, high pass cut at 63hz, the perfect control.

  I love them! It's a tough choice between these and the Klipsch RP600M! I would say the Evo4.2s excel more in the midrange and bass. The Klipsch speakers are more "direct" with slightly wider detail in the treble, but both are exceptional. Perhaps the Wharfedale speakers outperform in classical music and other more analog pieces (music without many final processing). They also impressed me in electronic music due to their bass (range). However, they require slightly more powerful amplifiers.
