4 Stars....for the unique reason the cable.......it's good that it's long...but IT DOES NOT RETRACT...ok it doesn't bother us...but at some point it will break and will need replacement......other than that...it's amazing...one of the best we've purchased....
Positives:
Very powerful
Very lightweight, as is the pole
Long cable
Agile due to the 4 wheels.
Large bin capacity (thus infrequent bag changes).
Negatives:
The cable does not store
No accessories included
The plastic in both the vacuum and the pole is thin, nothing like the classics. There is a risk of breaking a part in case of improper use.
Lack of protective features; if it hits a wall, corners, etc., there are no rubber edges for protection.
And 2 tips:
Keep the parts from your old vacuum; there is a good chance they will fit (like mine).
Never use it without a bag. All the dust will go to the filter, and no matter how many times you clean it, the vacuum's performance will not be the same (unless you change the filter every 3 months).
Powerful vacuum cleaner, very lightweight with a long cord and a HEPA filter. The negatives are that the cord doesn't retract and that it doesn't have many attachments.
I bought it for use in an amateur workshop. To suck up sawdust and other dust produced. It is not bulky, fits under the counter and does not bother. It accepts accessories (including the pole) from an old Miele vacuum. Noise is moderate. Convenient that it works with or without a bag and that it has a good filter. Overall, very satisfied with the use I got it for. The durability over time remains to be seen.
Positives
1. it sucks very strongly, cleans carpets very well.
2. It rolls quickly and does not tip over easily.
3. It has a large bin.
4. The bags are relatively inexpensive, about 2-3 euros each.
Negatives
1. The pole does not have a setting for reducing-increasing suction power.
2. The pole is plastic.
Super light and efficient. Relatively quiet. Its filter does a fantastic job with odors. The only downside I would mention is that it doesn't include a single accessory and only one bag.
Home with a dog that SHEDS, a cat, and a small child, after a branded and double-priced pet vacuum that proved unsuitable since its filter clogged while vacuuming (even though it was pet) we went for an Einhell of the same type as the Karcher but without the filter. The first one lasted 1.5 years and I was absolutely satisfied and truly recommend it, the second one lasted 2 years. It sucked up everything and took in water and bags BUT it made incredible noise and had a short cable. I changed it though because it stopped sucking like before! So I decided to get this one… I’ve had it for two months, it is QUIET compared to the Einhell and has a long cable with which I finished the house (85sqm) with two sockets. I don’t mind that it doesn’t retract the cable, I wrap it and hang it on top, it is flexible with the wheels and I prefer its plastic pole that separates into different lengths. I also got a nozzle which I would like to be a bit narrower but really at this price the vacuum is worth it! We vacuum every other day and in between we used the robot which I don’t use anymore. We have an issue with the mats but that’s because it’s powerful. I will get back to you when I lay carpets.
It picks up all the dirt and dust. The noise is much better than other branded vacuum cleaners I've had so far that claimed to have low noise. It's small and easy to store. The cord is long, and I no longer need to plug and unplug the vacuum's cord to be able to clean the whole house. Low cost, great value.
It is powerful, lightweight, and set up correctly for vacuuming. No unnecessary frills and design. It has a HEPA filter and can also use bags.
It can be used without a bag as well.
The bags cost €15 for 10, which is €1.5 each.
Its pole feels a bit different from the others as it consists of a combination of 3 plastic tubes. Personally, I prefer it because it is much lighter. It can also use the pole from your old vacuum and consequently all the extra attachments you have left.
Lightweight, just right for a home with stairs, powerful, sucks up everything. Very helpful that the pole separates into many parts. The only downside is that the cord wraps around, it doesn't suck it in like other vacuums.
Although it's still early for a full evaluation, the vacuum cleaner rocks in the first impressions!! Very lightweight, very powerful!!! With or without a bag, it performs great!!! I recommend it!! I hope it won't disappoint me in the future!
Very powerful and lightweight due to the plastic materials. We used to have a bucket of water and an iron handle and we got tired of carrying and constantly changing the bucket, washing, rinsing, and adding anti-foaming liquid for preparation. Since it also has a HEPA 14 filter, it is hypoallergenic. The price is at very good levels. Absolutely satisfied.
I have it for a few weeks now and it is very good for its price. I thought about upgrading from my previous vacuum cleaner to a professional one and it was a very good decision.
Positives:
Very powerful
Quiet (I use it even during quiet hours as the noise is very low)
Very lightweight
Cheap spare parts (bags, filters, brushes, accessories)
Wide range of spare parts and options because it is in Karcher's professional series
Long cable, I can easily clean the whole house.
Negatives:
The cable does not retract with a button. It is not very important for me but it is still a negative point.
It comes with the most basic equipment, without any extras. Again, it doesn't bother me since the extra bags are cheap and I can buy them separately. But it's a shame they don't come with the vacuum cleaner.
Lastly, the hose is plastic. Good plastic, but still plastic. I would have preferred it to be metal, but I can't ask for much at this price. Despite that, I have to say that the fact that the hose is plastic makes it very comfortable to hold and it doesn't tire me at all since it is lighter than metal.
4 stars for the plastic handle of the 3-piece set. Otherwise, it would have received 5 stars.
Well... the vacuum cleaner is a revelation.
Its advantages are:
...it is powerful,
it is quiet,
it is lightweight,
it is of good quality,
and it also has a HEPA filter that others do not have.
(It is important not to lift into the air that we breathe whatever is on the floor that we have brought in from outside with our shoes)
It works with or without a bag, storing the dirt inside the plastic container. (however, the cloth basket needs to be cleaned more frequently when not using a bag)
It has a 7-liter container, while most market vacuums do not have more than 3 liters. This means more time before the bags or container need to be emptied.
Its genuine and large bags cost... almost nothing. Only €1.30 each, while small bags from other vacuums cost over €3 each (but there are also cheaper imitations that are still more expensive than genuine Kärcher bags).
It has a relatively long cord and there is no need to constantly change outlets (unless you have a house over 100 square meters or it is narrow and long).
The spiral hose is also long, giving you freedom of movement without dragging the body of the vacuum with each movement.
It glides very easily everywhere.
There are spare parts available if something breaks and needs to be replaced.
It stands out and impresses those who see it because it looks like a specialized device (and it is).
Its suction power increases significantly without a bag.
One of its positives is the very good price. (purchased for €118)
As for the negatives:
The most important one is the plastic handle of the 3-piece set, which "bends" as soon as you apply a little pressure and gives the feeling that it can break if you apply more force. It should have a foldable metal handle.
I think the spiral hose requires a lot of attention because it might easily crack, and if it cracks once or twice, it will likely continue to crack in that specific spot.
The on/off switch cannot be pressed with your foot, but it is not a problem.
It does not have any additional attachments apart from the basic floor brush, although you are aware of this before purchasing it (but if you had any old Bosch, Siemens, etc. vacuums with the classic 35mm diameter hose, it is likely that they will fit. I had a 12-year-old Bosch and everything fit perfectly, even the foldable metal handle, which of course I kept).
The cord does not automatically retract, but it is not a problem. You can roll it up and hang it on a special hook that it comes with.
Of course, I highly recommend it if you don't mind its "negatives"
(+) I have changed electric vacuum cleaners twice, but I have had this one for 5 years. It is quite powerful until now, it has a large bin that empties easily and can be washed as it is made of hard plastic, it is easy to transport, it has a long handle, and it is generally lightweight.
(-) It does not have suction intensity adjustment, resulting in it getting stuck on carpets. You have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger to detach it from the carpet. The bags cost 10 euros each if you buy them separately, the cord does not retract, and extra accessories are not included.
It is the second Karcher vacuum cleaner that I have in my possession. This one is very lightweight, resulting in easy movement within the space. The downside is that its accessories are sold separately. Also, its construction, like the other vacuums, is made of plastic, but it does its job and more. The noise is minimal compared to larger Karcher models. Perfect suction. I am very satisfied.
The vacuum cleaner is a complete disappointment. After a short period of use, it stops sucking. If you let it rest for a day, it allows you to vacuum for another 10 minutes. After checking with Karcher, they found that everything is fine and there is no problem. It's better to get a handheld vacuum cleaner since this one is not even suitable for recycling...
I bought the vacuum cleaner on February 18, 2022. After a few days of arrival, I used it in the attic and in 10 minutes of use, it had a problem. It didn't suck up anything, not even a crumb. The next day, I contacted the company's service. They told me to try it without a filter and without a bag. It still didn't suck. Contacting the service again, they told me to send it back for them to see. Today, on April 29, 2022, I received a message that the vacuum cleaner has no problem and that it was due to misuse because I removed the bag and filter, charging me 38.31 euros. I'm sorry because I have bought Karcher products in the past, and this time it was a complete disappointment.
It is only for professional use because it captures everything the mother-in-law sees, especially on the carpets, which are a disappointment. Its performance is below average... unfortunately, I would not buy it again.
Single man with a 55 sqm house and carpets. I bought it to clean both the house and the car, and I truly made the best choice. Those of you who say it makes a lot of noise probably don't live in a city in Attica. It sucks loudly and doesn't hesitate, okay it doesn't have a cord mechanism, but it's fine, you can pick it up with your hand, but you have a vacuum cleaner and not a fan.
I work almost professionally in rental rooms. Every day is work, it has very good suction power, it is not heavy and it has a long cable of about 6 meters. You can easily hide the cable by rolling it up and you can carry it everywhere. The motor is quiet, you can comfortably talk while using it. In other vacuums, you couldn't hear anything. I bought a second model, get it, you will love it!
Very good and powerful vacuum cleaner... daily use in a gym parking lot... extremely lightweight and doesn't tire you at all... worth every penny at €125
This is an electric vacuum cleaner that belongs to Karcher's professional series. It is made in Romania, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Currently, it is offered at a lower price than the catalog price, around €120. It is small in size and weight. It has a large bin. Easy to maneuver. Moderate, but sufficient suction power. It does not automatically retract the (long) cord. However, you can roll it up and hang it on your shoulder. It does not have power adjustment, it has a single suction intensity. The power switch cannot be pressed with the foot, unless you wear a stiletto heel. It is equipped with a hepa filter that effectively filters the outgoing air, according to the manufacturer. This filter is disposable and costs around €35, which is about 30% of the vacuum's value. With moderate household use, it needs to be replaced every year. Surprisingly, the bags are cheap, either €15 for a pack of ten or €1.5 each. The corresponding authentic German vacuum bags cost €2-3 each. No additional accessories are provided. There is only the wand, which consists of three plastic tubes that simply fit into each other. No clasps or other luxuries. The plastic flexible spiral hose easily folds (cracks). Fortunately, there is the conventional nozzle with a button that lowers or retracts the brush. If the manufacturer's claims are true, that the motor is durable, of professional specifications, and the filter retains any harmful particles in the atmosphere within the vacuum's range, and considering the small weight, small size, low noise, and the Karcher warranty, for the price of the offer and not the catalog, it is probably worth it.
