    The device has the ASMedia ASM2364 controller, like most 20 Gbit/sec devices, with ASMedia firmware ver. 200207910800.
    To CrystalDiskMark it gave read 2127 MB/sec and write 1959 MB/sec.
    The actual write and read are 1.18 Gb/sec and 1.78 Gb/sec respectively as shown in the photos.
    Many have reported that upgrading the ASMedia firmware from www.station-drivers.com/ fixes the read and write speeds to 2 Gb/sec
