  It was very convenient for us when the baby was too big for the baby bath, but we wanted him to sit somewhere soft and stable. The straps adjust in height and are supported by the sides of the bathtub (almost all of them have them). It needs to dry after each bath because if it stays wet, it can be harmful to the baby due to bacteria. It dries quickly and it is made of foam.
