  Fantastic material, thick enough not to strain you but not so thick that you sink, very stable on the floor, very stable when you exercise on it thanks to its surface that feels like suede, you don't slip, you don't feel it stretching underneath you like with other softer mats, very beautiful, perfect for yoga and pilates where you need stability, I would never use it with shoes.   A nice soft mat. I only use it for warming up. Serious yoga flows, Vinyāsa or ashtanga are not really possible on this mat. No real grip. For Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, it's very good, though.
