Description

Thixotropic epoxy two-component system (1:1) with high resistance to mechanical and chemical stresses for sealing-fixing-bonding applications.

Application Areas

  • Many cases that require waterproofing and resistance to corrosion and heat
  • Putty work
  • Surface smoothing, e.g. floor scraping before painting with Neopox® Special
  • Strong bonding of metals, concrete, wood, ceramics, thermal insulation boards, polyester, hard plastics (e.g. PVC pipes)
  • Repair of local damages on vehicles, recreational boats or ships, fuel tanks, sewage pipes, where it can be reinforced with glass fibers (FIBERGLASS), carbon fibers (CARBON FIBER), and aramid fibers (KEVLAR)
  • Electrical and electronic applications (enclosures or insulation)
  • Carpentry work

Properties & Benefits

  • Consists of pure resins and selected hardeners without solvents, inert or fillers
  • Provides high resistance to mechanical and chemical stress
  • The product is offered in ratios of 1:1, 2:1 or 1:2-2.5, as well as many different types to cover all possible needs and requirements
  • The usual mixing ratio is 1:1.
  • It can also be used in other ratios such as: 2:1 for reinforcement grouting, 1:2-2.5 for sealing joints and gaps where shrinkage and elasticity are required
