I bought the machine from a store in my area for 120 euros. At first, I broke it in with half throttle on oats, and then I took it to a field with brambles. It is very good and very powerful. I highly recommend it to you
So, as a 10-year owner of two professional Stihl products, I decided to buy a value-for-money grass trimmer to give myself a break from the other two (I work with a tiller and a hedge trimmer). As an owner of a sprayer from the same company, I decided to purchase this specific one. I used it for 2 consecutive days on thick grass and it performs decently on burning gasoline. I believe that those who work like me should lubricate the gasoline once a month. I replaced the head with a metal one as the plastic one it came with was of poor quality (the double line doesn't work well). It has vibrations, but it is the best you can find in the categories of brush cutters and grass trimmers up to 160€
First time I used such a machine in my life. I had to cut quite tall grass (some of them were taller than me) in a 400+ square meter plot. But there were also some bamboo sticks that my father had for the beans, some discarded plastic pots, some small trees that I discovered, etc.
I was definitely happy that I managed to fix/assemble it in one afternoon and I was happy that I managed to start it without previous experience (I am an IT professional). However, I was supposed to do the job in just one morning, as the next day was Sunday before Pentecost. So, for example, I didn't have time to study the mechanism of the fishing line (nylon string?) and after it broke three times relatively early on some obstacles that I mentioned before, I had to put the accompanying blade on it.
But with the blade, I was slower (it didn't cut smoothly) and I had to refill the gasoline three times and in the end (maybe after 4 hours), I was exhausted to the point of exhaustion, and I didn't do a very good job, as I didn't cut them low enough (obviously due to inexperience). In the end, I didn't have the energy to collect some of the cut grass, although it turned out the next day that I needed 3 mornings with my brother and a rake to collect them. I don't know how others manage to cut and collect in one morning. And I'm not completely unfit.
In the end, we concluded that it's better to clean the plot well, lay down the geotextiles it has and the scrooge somewhere, so that the sun doesn't pass through and the weeds don't grow. Wherever someone wants to plant something, they either collect/wrap the geotextile or pierce it. That's probably what we'll do.
It is very powerful, I changed its aluminum head and with a thick cord you can cut everything, it has vibrations but it is tolerable, for its price it is worth it, it made the yard with tall wild grass smooth
I use it for part-time work, it is good for cleaning gardens and relatively small plots, but for large grass and tough areas, it does not do a good job and overall it is good but you cannot do fast work
Good quality, starts immediately, powerful 52cc engine, proper fuel consumption. I put on a blade and cleared a plot of land with one meter of grass. It appears to be a very good machine
